Balkan Beat Box is a world music group Original form Israel duo consisting of ex-Gogol Bordello member Ori Kaplan and Tamir Muskat of Firewater and Big Lazy. As a musical project they often cooperate with a host of other musicians both in the studio as well as on stage. Their current live crew consist of Tomer Yosef, Billy Levy, Ben Hendler, Itamar Ziegler, Dana Leung, Eyal Talmudi, Jeremiah Lockwood, and PETER HESS. Amongst their other collaborators are Victoria Hannah, the Bulgarian Chicks, Uri Kinrut, Dessislava Stefanova and gnawa player Hassan Ben Jaffar.
John Jorgenson (born 6 July 1956, in Madison, Wisconsin) is an American musician. Although best known for his guitar work with bands such as the Desert Rose Band and The Hellecasters, Jorgenson is also proficient in the mandolin, mandocello, Dobro, pedal steel, piano, upright bass, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone.

Biréli Lagrène was born on September 4, 1966, in Soufflenheim, (Bas-Rhin) in a traditional gypsy family and community. He started playing the guitar at the age of four. When, at the age of eight, he covered Django Reinhardt’s repertoire, his relatives were already calling him a child prodigy. Winning a gypsy music festival (in Strasbourg) at the age of twelve gave him the opportunity to tour in Germany and, later, to record his live performance on the double LP Route to Django.
Shantel (Stefan Hantel) is a DJ and producer from Germany. He was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1968. After growing up in Frankfurt, he went to Paris to study graphic design.
