The band recently completed their sophomore album We Are Not Humanity, produced by the American producer Gordon Raphael who has previously produced the first two albums of The Strokes, as well as albums for Regina Spektor, Skin and Beatsteaks. The album was released on the 12th of March, 2010, with a special release performance in the Melkweg (The Max) in Amsterdam.

However, their name was changed to BEAST (Boys of the East Standing Tall) a few days before debut. They released their first mini-album Beast Is the B2ST on October 14, 2009. There were many news articles on the group before its debut as many of them had previous experience in the entertainment industry.

C.N.BLUE (Korean: 씨엔블루), stylized as CNBLUE (Code Name Blue), is a rock band from Seoul, South Korea, which debuted under F&C Entertainment on August 19, 2009 in Japan with the band's first mini album, Now or Never. The group released four teasers for their 1st album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Jung Yong Hwa on the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13 January respectively. On the January 14, CN Blue debuted their first mini-album with lead single "I'm a Loner" (Korean: 외톨이야).
