Ink And Dagger

Formed in 1996, Ink & Dagger was a Vampire-themed post hardcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The two permanent members throughout the band's career were guitarist Don DeVore and vocalist Sean McCabe (who passed away in 2000). Other members included Dave McLaughlin, Ashli State, Joshua Brown, Jennifer Park, and Eric Warheim (of "Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" on Adult Swim!!!). They were notable for bringing the theatrics of glam rock bands like KISS to punk rock shows, and for mixing more experimental rock music with hardcore / punk rock.

The Extraordinaires

An indie rock group from Pennsylvania and Charlottesville, Virginia. They've released three CDs, yet the first ("Ikua") is out of circulation for the time being. The second CD ("Ribbons of War") is a brilliant themed CD telling the operatic love tale of the brooding Captain, the fair Annelies, and their forbidden love. Their third CD ("Short Stories") is composed of songs from their first album, as well as several previously unreleased songs from Ribbons of War.

Franklin

These four men from Philadelphia, PA bring their own unique style of multi-genre rock to the kids of the world. Take the spirited and soulful sound and then dub and mix it with the angst of punk rock. Blend in the intelligence and vague political overtones of the contemporary Washington D.C. scene, and you get this fine tuned slab of rock from Franklin whose '97 release Building In A and E is on Philly's own File 13 Records.

Norman Connors

Norman Connors (born March 1, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American jazz drummer, composer, arranger, producer, and headliner, who has led some influential jazz and R&B groups. He had some big R&B hits of the day, especially in the area love ballads and songs with a positive statement in both titles and lyrics. Connors became interested in jazz as a child, and began playing drums early, once sitting in for Elvin Jones at a John Coltrane performance he attended while in middle school.

Jneiro Jarel

Jneiro Jarel (born Omar Gilyard) is a Philadelphia-based hip hop producer. Noted for his abstract style, he is also known for his beat-making alias Dr. Who Dat? and his group Shape of Broad Minds, who released both their debut EP and album on Lex Records in the summer of 2007.
Jneiro grew up in Brooklyn, and moved out of the Brownsville section at the age of 5. His mother was in the army, and as a result, he lived in many places (Maryland, Arizona, Georgia, etc.). Finally touching down in Houston, Texas in the mid 80's, where his cousin "DJ Starr" put him on to hip hop at an early age.

Tammi Terrell

Tammi Terrell (born Thomasina Montgomery) (April 29, 1945 to March 16, 1970) was an American Motown singer in the 1960s, best known for her duets with Marvin Gaye. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she entered the music business at the age of 13, regularly performing live. In 1961 she was signed to the fledgling Scepter Records (later Wand Records), recording under the name "Tammy Montgomery". After coming to the attention of James Brown she recorded one single apiece for Brown's own Try Me record label and, in 1964, Checker Records.

Although the band’s career lasted only two years, the group is now regarded as one of the most significant Australian bands of the 1960s. 2) The Loved Ones are a punk rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
