Jarvis

There are currently 2 artists using the name Jarvis. The first one is an English pop musician, the other one is an American R&B singer. Jarvis Branson Cocker (born 19 September 1963, in Sheffield, England) is an English pop musician, best known for fronting the band Pulp. Jarvis came from a musical family (his father and uncle were musicians). It has often been claimed that fellow Sheffield musician Joe Cocker (unrelated) was a friend of the family and babysat for Jarvis on occasions.

Graham Coxon

Graham Coxon was Blur's guitarist until he left the band in 2002. Since then he has established himself as a solo artist playing lo-fi garage rock. His first solo album,'The Sky Is Too High', was released in 1998 and has a very muted, uncommercial sound. 'TSITH' was followed by 'The Golden D' which features two covers of the band Mission of Burma and is considerably less folk-oriented than the last.

Glenn Tilbrook

Glenn Tilbrook (born Glenn Martin Tilbrook, on 31 August 1957, in Woolwich, South East London) is the lead singer, and guitarist of the English group Squeeze, a power pop band formed in the mid-1970s. Glenn generally wrote the music for Squeeze, while his writing partner, Chris Difford, wrote the lyrics. Over the duration of Squeeze's first hiatus, from approximately 1983 to 1985, Tilbrook wrote, recorded, and toured with Difford as an act called Difford & Tilbrook.

Richard Hawley

Richard Hawley, (born Sheffield, United Kingdom) is a critically acclaimed guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. Hawley initially found success as a member of Britpop band Longpigs in the 1990s. When a drug-filled torpor after an extensive tour of America brought the band to the brink of extinction in 1997, Hawley was asked to play with Pulp by his close friend and Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. "They saved my life," Hawley later recalled, "I was going mental with drink and drugs.

Sonique

Born "Sonia Clarke" in London, England in 1968, of Trinidadian parentage. She was sort of written-off at school but had shown talents in sports. She dreamed of becoming a successful pentathlete up to the time ending up only second in a race. Then she turned to the music scene, dancing at clubs etc. and joined a band as a singer at the age of 17. She was homeless in these times. Her band went defunct the same year, but she got a solo record deal leading to an immediate hit in the UK.

Will Young

William Robert Young (born January 20, 1979), is a British singer and actor. He catapulted to fame after winning the inaugural UK Pop Idol contest. Young was born in Wokingham, Berkshire, with a non-identical twin, Rupert. He was educated at Horris Hill preparatory school and Wellington College. He then attended the University of Exeter where he read Politics. At university, some of Young's old haunts included Timepiece, The Old Firehouse, and Harry's, where he used to work.

Fran Healy

Francis "Fran" Healy is a British rock musician. He is currently the lead singer and main songwriter of the Scottish band Travis, having written nearly all of the songs on their five studio albums. Healy is currently working on his debut solo album, tentatively titled "Wreckorder" which will feature Paul McCartney on it.

Join them on Facebook. Grabbel and The Final Cut are a / band originally active in the 1990s. They formed in their hometown Lüneburg, Germany in 1989 and consisted of band members Stefan Zachau (guitar, voice), Gernot Dornblüth (bass, voice), Sascha Kotzur (guitar, keyboard) and Christian Grabowski (drums), whose nickname “Grabbel” was an inspiration for the band’s name, obviously.

Pulp

Formed 1978 in Sheffield, England and originally called "Arabacus Pulp" (although they shortened it to Pulp within a year), Pulp achieved sudden success some thirteen years after their formation and became known during the Britpop era as much for their music as for frontman Jarvis Cocker's antics (notably conducting a stage invasion during Michael Jackson's performance of Earth Song at the 1996 BRIT Awards).
