Identity Crisis

There are multiple artists known as Identity Crisis.
#1:Doom-laden drums, murky synths, Middle Eastern rhythms, dreamy guitar riffs, and ghostly vocals: The Identity Crisis had the style and soul of a mid-'80s European band on the dark 4AD record label. However, they weren't from Europe, and 4AD never touched their music. Formed in Manila, Philippines, in 1986, the Identity Crisis had an aura of mystery; most of their lineup even withheld their last names. The band originally consisted of Lenny Llapitan (keyboards), Resty (guitars), Buddy Boy (vocals), Bogs (bass), and Marvin (drums).

The Tubes

There is more than one group called the Tubes. 1) The Tubes are a San Francisco-based theater rock band, popular in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, known for their live performances that combined music performances with many different unique costumes and in some acts they wore leotards with painted on nipples and pubic hair (neither of which points are relevant for evaluating their artistic/musical/political relevance). They made satires of life in the USA; the media, consumerism, and politics. They were often banned in the Midwest USA.

Artist Type:

Skitzo

There are 3 bands with the name Skitzo: 1) Psychobilly band from the UK.
2) Oldschool underground thrash metal band from the USA.
3) Classic rock band from Ireland.
1) Skitzo was originally formed in 1985. In the late 80's they started to do a lot of gigs in the famous London club the Klub Foot. Signed with nervous, and became a well known psychobilly band. The sound of Skitzo is straight forward psychobilly. They play it fast, loud, shout and scream without bothering too much about experimenting.

Artist Type:

Claytown Troupe

CLAYTOWN TROUPE - In the late 80’s they were the only real alternative to The Cult, more anthemic and authentic than Astbury & Co’s rawk;
Claytown Troupe were an Alt-Rock act touted as the next big band after The Cult’s fake rock and the authentic crusty rock of Pop Will Eat Itself & Crazyhead.
Moving a few hundred thousand units internationally over their short period in the limelight, they broke into the UK charts before sadly disappearing in 1992 after touring with Pearl Jam.

Artist Type:

Dead Combo

They play Lisbon, the city of the countryside, chimneys and white domes, sceneries of a lost past, the fado, the loiter western, all together in a voodoo of emotions, the Tagus river, misplaced lovers, abandoned angels in the crossroads of destiny, flowers with misplaced colours, saints, burning hot chambers, naked guitars, thrown on the street, double basses on fire, top hats, chickens on the loose and things that roll on the street.
