Vales

Few bands accomplish in their entire exist all that VALES have achieved in just over a year. Formed during the month of March 2011 in Cornwall, England, VALES (formerly known as Veils) are a fierce foursome that have quickly proven their musical prowess. Their unique sound teeters between angst-filled screamo and aggressive hardcore, all the while conveying a deep passion for what they are creating.

New Politics

New Politics: David and Soren had been writing songs together for over three years (for respective solo albums that have yet to see the light of day) when they realized that they had unintentionally started a band. Jason Feddy

Five years ago, Jason Feddy found himself washed up on the shores of Southern California, in exile from a life of excess in Northern England. Feddy was reeling from several personal and professional failings, including the loss of his publishing contract with Zomba UK and a major label demo deal that dissolved unceremoniously in a dead end. Earlier, Feddy had high hopes for his career. He was courted by several well known labels after being featured in magazines such as the respected London based Time Out.

Oh, Sleeper

Oh, Sleeper is a band from Fort Worth, Texas signed to Solid State Records. Oh, Sleeper formed in April of 2006 after former members of short-lived rock band Terminal got together with former Between the Buried and Me guitarist Shane Blay. Eventually they found a vocalist in Micah Kinard and began practicing. As the 4 members began sledging through all the normal problems of a band start-up (no place to practice, no money and different schedules) the biggest obstacle was finding the last and final member.

Uranium Lake

"The day I discovered Uranium Lake, I kind of felt like I had been let in on a very special secret... They didn't have inflated egos, they didn't have eccentric fashion, and they would never shouts their mouths off in the NME, but this was a band to treasure. They wrote straight-forward old-fashioned jangly indie-pop songs. Their influences were worn firmly on their sleeve (The Smiths and The Go-Betweens being two of note) but this was something that just made them more honest and refreshing, rather than detract from their greatness.
