Solo Grungegaze cum Dark Psychedelicore cum Doom Folk cum Symphonic Noisewave cum Space Pop cum Gothic Soul cum Crust Pop cum Math Funk cum Acid Metal cum Sludgetherealindustrial cum Powerpopviolence cum Southern Postcore project of Mr Black conceived around 2001 as a solo project of Mr Black but not started until sometime in the 90's. Mr Black split up in 2010 following the death of Mr Black leaving behind a wide and well-received catalogue of absolutely no albums whatsoever.

BLACKENED seemed to have come out of nowhere, but the truth is that every member of the band has been involved in the independent music community for the last decade and a half. The all-star lineup boasts current and former members of the juggernaut that is HATEBREED (Bassist Chris Beattie and original drummer and founding member Dave Russo) as well as current Connecticut contenders and alum alike, including vocalist Jay Reason (THE DISTANCE) and guitarist Chris Legg (FASTBREAK).

Syth

Syth are a heavy metal band from Glasgow, Scotland, UK. They play in a traditional, keyboard-free style and draw influences from the likes of Iron Maiden, Firewind, Metallica and Helloween. Combining power metal riffs with melodic, soaring solos and precise, powerful rythyms, they are widely tipped as a band to watch on the Scottish metal scene. They are fronted by vocalist, Niall Russell, ably backed by guitarist Baz Fitzsimmons. Bassist Allen Bell and drummer Mark Connelly make up the rhythm section.

Salem’s Lot are a Jersey (C.I) based British Hard Rock band. Consists of -

Tom Ashcroft - Drums They formed in early 2008 out of the ashes of several local bands, and have continued to impress the youth of Jersey with their high energy blazing rock and roll. July 2008 saw the release of their first EP and their victory in a Battle of the Bands leading to a set at the local music festival “Rock in the Park”. The rest of 2008 saw more gigs from Salem’s Lot and an unprecedented rise in popularity.

Slough Feg

'The Lord Weird Slough Feg', whose name is derived from a character in the British mythology-inspired Sláine comics, originates from Central Pennsylvania. The band relocated to San Francisco, California in 1990 in hopes of resurrecting the ailing 'true metal' scene in the United States. The band quickly gained a reputation as, 'The band San Francisco loved to hate' by taking a stand against the trends and incorporating stage savagery with strong visual imagery.

Brimstone

1) Brimstone is a Swedish power metal band with "death metal" vocals of Jan-Erik Persson which takes them far from being a traditional metal band. The band started under the name Havoc, releasing 2 demos before changing name to Brimstone. The band released only one album called "Carving a Crimson Career" in 2000. The track list as follows: 1. Amaranthe

Amaranthe is a Swedish/Danish power/melodic death metal band that originates from Sweden and Denmark. Formed by Jake E. Lundberg and Olof Morck, the project began taking shape when singers Elize Ryd and Andy Solvestrom signed on, as did drummer Morten Lowe. The band released a 4-song demo on their MySpace profile in 2008, entitled "Leave Everything Behind". In 2009, the band was forced to change the name of the band (originally called Avalanche) due to legal issues. They chose Amaranthe. From that point on they began preproduction work on their upcoming debut album.

Emperor

Emperor is an influential Norwegian band that represents a synth laden, progressive yet brutally aggressive and chaotic part of the genre, something quite different from the minimalism of other originators of the Norwegian sound (e.g. Darkthrone). The band was formed around the core members Samoth (Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen) and Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) of the band Thou Shalt Suffer and bass player Mortiis (Håvard Ellefsen) in Notodden, Norway, 1992.
