Kevin Drumm

Kevin Drumm is an musician based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Emerging from the city's improvised music scene, in the 1990s he became one the world's pre-eminent prepared guitar players. Years active from 1991. Drumm's work expanded to include compositions and live electronic music made with laptop computers and analog modular synthesizers. He has collaborated with many artists working in similar fields, including Japanese guitarist Taku Sugimoto, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jim O'Rourke...

Eyeless in Gaza

The post-punk duo Eyeless In Gaza romanced a reverberating minimalism. With jagged guitar, distant synthesizer, and hoarse, melodious cry, Martyn Bates and Peter Becker hailed from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England and have described their music as "veering crazily from filmic ambiance to rock and pop, industrial funk to avant-folk styles." Formed in 1980, the group went into hiatus in 1987, reemerging in 1993.

Young Hunting

There are two bands with the name Young Hunting. 1. A Los Angeles-based quintet, originally formed in 2007 as a duo comprised of Hari Rex and Ilya Malinsky, who remain the band's primary songwriters. In late September 2010, they released a 7" EP containing the tracks "Into Yr Mind" and "Sonata". The EP was self-funded, but is being distributed by K Records of Olympia, WA. Expo '70

EXPO '70 was formed in Los Angeles by Justin Wright as a side-project, while he was playing guitar in Living Science Foundation (Second Nature Recordings; GSL50 Compilation). Initially, the group also included Wright's friend, PK . The pair improvised creating sounds bouncing effect-ridden instruments creating a wide range of textures and moods. EXPO '70's first recording and inception was during PK's project SXBRS recording session, resulting in one of many split releases on PKs' label.
