Lee Kernaghan (born April 15, 1964 in Corryong, Victoria, Australia, is one of Australia's most popular and influential country singers and songwriters. Born in the bush, Corryong, Victoria, in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains high country is where Lee's life began. The son of a truck driver and later multi-platinum recording artist Ray Kernaghan, Lee spent his formative years growing up in the Riverina country of Southern NSW.
Goodshank made his high profile musical debut playing acoustic guitar in The Moldy Peaches. He has also had a prolific solo career, recording 14 albums in a five-year span and touring Europe with artists including Jeffrey Lewis and Kimya Dawson. He has since become a prominent voice in the underground NYC music scene. Collin Raye was born Aug. 22, 1959, in DeQueen, AR, with the name Floyd Collin Wray. Both of his parents were musical, and his mother, Lois Wray, was a regionally popular performer in East Texas who opened shows for Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins in the 1950s. At 7, Raye was onstage with her performing. At 13, he and his older brother Scott formed The Wray Brothers and performed in the roadhouses of the Lone Star State. They soon became headliners in Portland, OR, and in the casinos of Reno, NV.
