Chromatics

Chromatics originally hailed from Seattle as a quartet featuring vocalist Adam Miller, drummer Hannah Blilie, guitarist Devin Welch, and bassist Michelle Nolan. That lineup debuted in 2002 with a Calvin Johnson-produced 7" on Gold Standard Laboratories -- a split with Die Monitr Batss -- and followed with the similarly GSL-issued Chrome Rats Vs Basement Ruts LP. While Chrome Rats was critically hailed, Chromatics couldn't keep it together, and Miller was soon the only member in good standing (Blilie, Welch, and Nolan went on to form the similar-sounding Shoplifting).

With the dust still settling from the online buzz of ‘Built This House’ (Song of the Day – Pop Justice) and under the management of Raye Cosbert (Amy Winehouse) and Trenton Harrison Lewis (Goldie), Ruby Goe is releasing new single ‘Beat Breakin Boy’ on 25 October 2010. Her electro hip-pop new track was written together with DJ Ammo (4th July - Kellis) and DJ Poet (Boom Boom Pow) , the DJ's from the Black Eyed Peas, one afternoon in London.

Lady Miss Kier

Lady Miss Kier was the lead singer for the dance and electronica band Deee-Lite. Her vocals were featured on the band's albums, beginning with their first release World Clique in 1990, which includes "Groove Is In The Heart". In 1986 in Williamsburg , New York City, Kirby formed Deee-Lite, and wrote and produced their songs with bandmate Dmitry Brill, known as Super Dj Dmitri. Their amorous breakup ended the group.. Kier's sultry, funny , and soulful voice was heard on Deee-Lite's albums until the group disbanded in 1995.

ADULT. is an band from Detroit, Michigan that integrates vocals with drum machines, analog synths and electronic/punk elements. They started releasing albums in 1998 under the pseudonymn "Plasma Co." Initially, ADULT. members were unrevealed, but now it is known that the band consists of husband-and-wife Adam Lee Miller (formerly of Le Car) and visual artist Nicola Kuperus. The two members are also the founders of the Ersatz Audio record label.

Rebecca Black (born June 21, 1997) is an American singer who gained worldwide attention with her 2011 single "Friday". Her mother paid $4000 to have the single and an accompanying music video put out as a vanity release through the record label ARK Music Factory. The song was co-written and produced by Clarence Jey and Patrice Wilson of ARK Music Factory. After the video went viral on YouTube and other social media sites, "Friday" was derided by many music critics and viewers, who dubbed it "the worst song ever.

Gigamesh has been making his mark for several years in dance clubs around the world with his own popular blend of remixes, as well as his work with remix group DiscoTech, and his role in Señor Stereo, a disco influenced live-electronic group. Today,Consequence of Sound exclusively premiered the a mixtape, featuring exclusive remixes of Katy B, Theophilus London and Afrojack, that he made especially for Thursday September 22nd’s Check Yo Ponytail show at El Rey. Gigamesh will share the bill that night with Miami Horror, Class Actress, LA Girlfriend and Franki Chan.
