From Buenos Aires, Los Cripis are two ladies and one man making primitive, kaleidoscopic DIY guitar songs. Everything is wonky, distorted, sweet and full of colour, maybe recalling THE SHAGGS, BEAT HAPPENING, BIRD NAMES or SWELL MAPS. They have two albums as free downloads.
Born in the English Midlands but now based in Glasgow, Scotland, guitarist Ben Reynolds has been a prominent player in and contributor to the United Kingdom's fertile underground psych/drone scene for many years.
A current member of the long-running and highly influential Ashtray Navigations, Reynolds appears on recordings by Vibracathedral Orchestra and Sunroof. He and is also active via his duo project Motor Ghost with Directing Hand, both with free-jazz drummer Alex Neilsen.

Our Brother The Native are two young Americans; Josh Bertram and Chaz Knapp, who have been working together as a unit since 2005, and whom FatCat stumbled upon towards the end of 2005. Having checked out a link to their site on Myspace.com, and instantly liking what was heard, they got in touch with the band and the debut they were currently writing just fell into their laps. In his sophomore year, Josh met John Michael, who was then a senior.
Avey Tare (born David Portner on April 24th, 1979) is a musician and founding member of Animal Collective. Avey Tare met Animal Collective's Deakin (Josh Dibb), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), and Geologist (Brian Weitz) in high school. For years, the four of them swapped homemade recordings, shared musical ideas and performed in different group configurations. Avey Tare recorded the Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished album with Panda Bear, and initially released the recording on the band's own Animal label in 2000.

Comets on Fire are a psychedelic rock band from Santa Cruz, California. The band was formed in 1999 by guitarist and vocalist Ethan Miller and longtime friend bassist Ben Flashman, who were seeking to create rhythmically and sonically intense music that paid no attention to categorizations. The band's self-titled debut was released in 2001 and eventually issued on the Alternative Tentacles label. Recorded on a four-track, it was a garage/psych freakout of intense if not epic proportions.
