There are two bands with the name Gyroscope. The first is a pop punk/alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia formed in 1997 by Daniel Sanders (vocals, guitar), Zoran Trivic (guitar), Brad Campbell (bass), and Rob Nassif (drums). They recorded their first demo cassette, First, as Gyroscope Sunday in 1998, and took up playing regularly on the Perth live circuit whilst also finding time for work and school commitments. The second is a psychedelic jazz outfit from Quebec, Canada.
Tim Ayre and Jean Capotorto are Tim & Jean, an up-and-coming electropop indie duo from Perth, Western Australia. The band began by recording demo tapes in Capotorto's bedroom studio in Mandurah. After posting their music on MySpace the band entered Triple J's Unearthed High School competition for unsigned bands, which they made the finals with their track "Come Around". Tim & Jean have performed at many major festivals including Parklife, Good Vibrations, Southbound, Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival.
Reemer are a band from Manchester, United Kingdom who have recently released their first LP, Snakes and Ladders. The band consists of 4 guys: Dave (vocals), Nick (guitar), Max (bass) and Dan (drums). They are signed to Reaction Records, the same label as the Who. They have released two singles: Maniac (July 2008) and Rockstar (Oct 2008); alongside their album. The band are currently on tour with pop band McFly around the UK and Ireland, and have begun to find a growing following amongst the bands' fans.
Hexvessel is a psychedelic folk-rock band that was founded by Englishman Mat "Kvohst" McNerney, vocalist for blackmetal bands Dødheimsgard and Code. He moved to Finland in 2009 and was joined by a coven of musicians from Tampere that feature members of Galacticka and Dark Buddha Rising. Fusing late 1960s and early 1970s English folk and psychedelia with a love for Finnish nature, pagan mysticism, folklore and the occult, they play a witches brew of acoustic balladry and heavy tripped-out atmospherics. We are Standard or Standard as they are known in Europe are an indie band from Guecho, Vizcaya, Spain. Their indie'tronic sound has been delighting the Spanish masses and their first album 3000v-40000w was released in the USA in July 2007 under the artist name We Are Standard as well as some European countries taking them on a tour including some international festivals like F.I.B, Eurosonic and Popkomm.
On August 18, 2009, lead singer Shaant Hacikyan announced via his Twitter account he was going solo. Dave Melillo confirmed that he and guitarist Jeff Czum had left the band. Jeff, Dave, and Mike Lasaponara went on to create a new band, Nocturnal Me. In early 2010, it was announced that the band will continue with frontman Shaant Hacikyan as the only original member to continue, joining with former members of Mandy K.
Alex Goot is a one man pop rock and acoustic band from Poughkeepsie, New York. He provides the vocals, drums, guitars, keyboards & programming for all his songs, some of which are his own written work and others, covers of classic and modern pop songs. He began recording music in 2004 at the age of 16 and since then has gained popularity from his profiles on websites such as Purevolume and Myspace, on which he distributes some of his music and provides news and regular updates to his increasing fanbase on his progress.
Disco Ensemble was formed in 1996 in Pori, Finland. For many years the band has been in the basements and underground-venues, writing songs and playing shows that would have put any band in the limelight to shame. From periods ranging from progressive hardcore to more accessible punk rock, childhood friends Mikko (drums) and Jussi (guitar), bassist Lasse and vocalist Miikka have been Finland's best kept secret for too long.

The press has been nothing but positive about the album 'Synoré'. And soon the live reputation of the band was growing bigger and bigger with every show that was played. Last year the band toured with, amongst others, the US metal-bands DEVILDRIVER, ILL NIÑO, SHADOWS FALL, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and Canadian all-girl metal band KITTIE.
