Jordi Savall i Bernadet (born 1941, in Igualada, Catalonia, Spain) is a Spanish-Catalan viol player and composer. He is one of the major figures in the field of early music since the 1970s, largely responsible for bringing the viol (viola da gamba) back to life on the stage. His repertory ranges from medieval to renaissance and baroque music. Savall's musical training started in the school choir of his native town (1947-55).

Jaume Sisa (Barcelona, 1948) is a Catalan artist, composer and songwriter, who defines himself as "galàctic". His most famous song "Qualsevol nit pot sortir el sol" (from the album with the same name) was published in 1975. The band was born in 2003 with the name "Pegatina Sound System" after Ovidi i Adrià meet Rubén, who up to that moment was playing solo. They decided to throw forward the project, without knowing to where it would go. One year later they had more than 20 performances under their belts and were one of the most active groups in the Catalan market. The band were starting to take part in festivals and performances in different places in Spain.
There are more than one artist with this name. 1) Standstill is a Spanish indie rock band from Barcelona. Their first two albums were hardcore, sung in English and reached some popularity in European hardcore scene. After those two records, they released an acoustic EP, and since then, they've been singing in Spanish (the last two albums).
