Sister Sin were formed in 2002 in Gothenburg, Sweden. They are a female fronted four piece with a style reminiscent of Guns 'N Roses, L.A Guns and Hanoi Rocks. Sister Sin released various recordings via smaller indie labels. They issued their first non-indie album Switchblade Serenades via Victory Records in October 2008; it reached number 107 on Top Heatseekers in the first week of release in the US.
Human Resource was founded in 1990. Their first record "Dominator" became an European hit almost overnight. Due to this huge success, and the success of their second album "The Kicking Noise of Rotterdam", the group spends years on the road touring the globe. By the end of the 90’s, after many changes of the line up, the band ceased to exist and co-founder Guido Pernet was the only one left. In 2004 he decided to restart the group with oldschool house legends Maurice Steenbergen and Zeno Zevenbergen.
Circle Takes the Square (often abbreviated CTTS) is a band from Savannah, Georgia, USA. The band formed in 2001 as a four-piece and after their first two releases they lost a guitarist but gained another in late 2004. What listeners tend to notice first about the band is the loud screaming of both male and female vocals that often function in a kind of call and response. Skillful, chaotic drumming coupled with intense, highly technical bass/guitar work have served to separate the band from most others in the screamo genre.

Deadweight (US) is an alternative rock trio from San Francisco, California. Playing the violin and cello through a variety of guitar effects, their studio recorded material is surprisingly hard rock.

(1) Formed in 1985 in Preston, Lancashire, British thrashers Xentrix (pronounced Zen-tricks) began their careers by playing metal covers before focusing all of their efforts on coming up with original material. Initially known as Sweet Vengeance, guitarist/vocalist Chris Astley, guitarist Kristian Havard, drummer Dennis Gasser and bassist Paul Mackenzie created enough of a stir through their live performances that the English branch of Roadrunner Records took notice and signed the group in January 1989.
There are several bands with the name Lionheart: 1) The first was a rock band from the UK which existed from late 1980 until 1986. 2) The second was a Rock Against Communism band also hailing from the United Kingdom which was founded in the late 80's and existed into the mid 90's. 3) A modern band which takes the name calls its genre Bay Area Hardcore.
