The Commercial Hippies

The Commercial Hippies , (Anton Raubenheimer and Gareth Tacon), started their musical history together, DJing breakbeat at various parties, in and around Cape Town South Africa. After a couple years of DJing, the two (garethT & Anton) decided to try their hand at producing and soon after the concept of The Commercial Hippies was born. Their first track Where Dreams Come From received a great response from trance lovers around the world and instantly caught the attention of many a psy-trance ear.

Black and White

For the psytrance artists go to the Black & White page and fix your tags. The band went under the name “First Love” and performed at the Hemmens Auditorium Battle of the Bands. The band took first place and won “cash plus recording time”. As time went on the band changed its name to “Black and White” and soon became very popular on the Illinois Club Circuit. Hi! My name is Josef Hofinger, born in Austria, I`m a DJ since 1996 and I'm producing my own music since 2002. I started my musical career at the age of 6 as a drummer. I visited the music school for eleven years and played in various kinds of ensembles. During that period, I played bongos, congas, many other percussion instruments and subsequently the didgeridoo.
At the age of 16 I discovered the magic of vinyl, and started off as a DJ with techno music. Later, I bought my first psytrance record and directly fell in love with this kind of music.

Bubble

There are multiple artists called Bubble: 1 - Bubble - Karen Bagdasarov and Guy Sarnat are two musicians from the Israeli jazz, trance and electro scene, who met in the SNS-records studio in 2004.
Guy got into trance at age of 15. He started producing music in his home studio and graduated the Music School in Tel Aviv.
Karen started his musical career at the age of 5 starting out by learning to play the saxophone, later he graduated the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, where he became a professional musician.

Slug is the name used by multiple musical acts: (1) American hip hop artist Sean Daley, of Atmosphere; (2) South African trance artist Liam Gibbs; (3) a Los Angeles avant/noise rock band; (4) a Chicago-based trance/breakbeat producer; (5) a house DJ from the Shetland Isles, (6) a singer-songwriter from the UK and (7) a south american thrash-metal band.

Mr Peculiar

Affectionately known as "Mr P", Dustin Saalfield is a Psychedelic Trance producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Dustin has been involved with electronic music for 15 years playing live and travelling all over Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Europe, and releasing tracks on a multitude of compilations.
Starting way back in 1989 he was involved in various projects making hip hop, drum and bass and chilled out breakbeat music, he then evolved into creating psychedelic trance and had his first release as Mr Peculiar, "Elephantitis", on Koyote records early in 2001.
