Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin(Александр Николаевич Скрябин) (1872-1915, Moscow) was a Russian composer and pianist. Many of Scriabin's works are written for the piano; the earliest pieces resemble Frédéric Chopin and include music in many forms that Chopin himself employed, such as the etude, the prelude and the mazurka. Later works, however, are strikingly original, employing very unusual harmonies and textures.
There are at least five bands who have recorded under the name Colors.
1) Now defunct Denver, Colorado based dissonant hardcore group that formed in June of 2008. In August of 2010, they recorded nine of the songs that they had written in the two years prior, eight of which were released as 'Palindromes'. After a lineup change that October, they briefly adopted a new moniker and began working on new material before permanently disbanding in March of 2011. On 3 April 2011 they performed for the last time, with their original lineup and name intact.
Hank Green (May 5, 1980) is one of the two founders of the video blog project Brotherhood 2.0 that inspired the community of cool nerds known as Nerdfighters. Hank wrote many of his songs for his Brotherhood 2.0 videos. He and Alan Lastufka co-own DFTBA Records, a label that signs successful YouTube-based musicians. Red Box is a British pop group formed in the 1980s. The group was originally a five-piece band, and released its debut single "Chenko" on Cherry Red Records in 1983. Following this, the band slimmed down to a duo, Simon Toulson-Clarke and Julian Close, and took on a more synthpop direction. Their second single "Saskatchewan" (a cover of the Buffy Sainte-Marie song) brought them to the attention of WEA, who signed the duo.

Their repertory of styles expanded across electronic, trip hop, noise, and industrial. The band Ruby was named as such because Rankine and Walk both have a grandmother named Ruby.
Big Black Delta is Jonathan Bates' (Mellowdrone) "new musical endeavor" which aims to release new free music every few weeks. The bands first release "BBDEP1" was released for free download on August 16, 2010. The followup lp, "BBDLP1", was released on September 26th, 2011, available for free download for the first week and also offering a variety of special merch packages.

JJ Grey & Mofro (formerly billed just as Mofro) is a soul/funk/R&B/blues/southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in the 1990s and composed of JJ Grey (vocals, electric piano, acoustic guitar and electric guitar, harmonica), Andrew Trube (electric guitar and slide guitar), Anthony Farrell (Hammond Organ), Anthony Cole (drums) and the "Hercules Horns" Dennis Marion (trumpet), Art Edmaiston (tenor saxophone) and Todd Smallie (bass guitar).
