Bebel Gilberto (born Isabel Gilberto de Oliveira on May 12, 1966 in New York City) is an American-born Grammy Award-nominated Brazilian popular singer often associated with bossa nova. She is the daughter of João Gilberto and singer Miúcha. Her uncle is singer/composer Chico Buarque. Bebel has been performing since her youth in Rio de Janeiro. At the age of seven, Bebel made an appearance on her mother's first solo album Miúcha.

From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, The Twelves were formed by the duo João Miguel and Luciano Oliveira in 2005. The name came from the strange coincidence of their birth dates: 12th July 1980. The breakthrough for The Twelves came in July of 2007 when they remixed the track "Boyz" from M.I.A's sophomore album, Kala. The reworked track with an added club feel resulted in one of the most talked about remixes of 2007.

Quinta plays violin, viola, musical saw, keyboards, clarinet, toy and vintage instruments, and anything else that makes a good noise. As well as her solo work, Quinta currently plays with Orphans & Vandals, Pthhhh, and Victoria Hume. She has played also with Joni Davis, Bat for Lashes, Mette Bille, Clearlake, Mary Hampton, The Accidental, Chris Letcher, London Breakbeat Orchestra, Tundra, and Ginger Lee. Quinta's debut album 'My Sister, Boudicca' was released on April 13th 2009 on Tartaruga Records.

There are several artists called Bid 1) O primeiro disco solo de BiD, Bambas & Biritas Volume 1 de 2005, juntou uma banda formada por Carlos Daffé no piano e vocal, Marku Ribas na percussão e vocal, Rocco BiD na bateria e vocal, Lula Barreto no baixo, Bruno Buarque na percussão e samplers e o próprio BiD na guitarra, craviola e vocal. A carreira de BiD começou tocando com Supla na banda Tokyo. Depois disso BiD integrou o Professor Antena e Funk como Le Gusta, que também produziu.
