EMF

EMF were an / band which formed in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England in 1989 and best known for their 1990 hit "Unbelievable". The band consisted of James Atkin (vocals, guitar), Ian Dench (guitar, keyboards), Derry Brownson (keyboard, samples), Zach Foley (bass) and Mark Decloedt (drums). The band originally disbanded in 1997 and reformed in 2001. Foley died of a drug overdose in January 2002 and the band only played four more shows that year before disbanding once more. The band re-formed for a second reunion in 2007, which ended in May of 2009.

Described in France as "la voix noire et au costume blanc" (Black voice in a white costume). She is a guitar, bass guitar and percussion player, as well as a song writer. Magda performs music of Afro-American and African heritage. She is a two-time Semifinalist of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA. Readers of the Polish blues quarterly chose her the Female Vocalist of the Year 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2011.

1. Peter King (b. 1940) is an English jazz saxophonist, composer, and clarinettist. King was born in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey on 11th August 1940, and taught himself to play the clarinet at the age of fifteen, quickly switching to alto saxophone.

Marva Whitney

Marva Whitney (born Marva Ann Manning on May 1, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas) is an American soul/funk singer. She is considered by many funk enthusiasts to be one of the "rawest" and "brassiest" music divas. Whitney's performing career started as early as three years old while touring with her family's gospel group, the Manning Gospel Singers. Singing with James Brown in the late 1960s, she was able to make a name for herself with powerful songs like "I'm Tired, I'm Tired, I'm Tired (Things Better Change Before It's Too Late)" and "If You Don't Work (You Can't Eat).
