The Last Fm page was made a while ago where we allowed everyone to download our `Broken Home sessions` E.P for free this included songs from the `Sack the Unemployed` C.D we gave out at a couple of gigs (June 2009) UPDATE FEBRUARY 2010************ we have now started recording in a real studio as part of our `Social NOTworking` album and have duly added the first two tracks called `Stalker Drama` and `Jeremy Kyle (Fucked My Wife)` these songs can be downloaded for free at www.thegirobabies.bandcamp.com as we start to promote an official release set for May 5th 2010

EMF

EMF were an / band which formed in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England in 1989 and best known for their 1990 hit "Unbelievable". The band consisted of James Atkin (vocals, guitar), Ian Dench (guitar, keyboards), Derry Brownson (keyboard, samples), Zach Foley (bass) and Mark Decloedt (drums). The band originally disbanded in 1997 and reformed in 2001. Foley died of a drug overdose in January 2002 and the band only played four more shows that year before disbanding once more. The band re-formed for a second reunion in 2007, which ended in May of 2009.

The Candy Skins

The Candyskins were a rock band formed in 1989 in Oxford, England. Considered by many as one of the cream of the 'Oxford Scene', they enjoyed limited commercial success compared to their contemporaries Radiohead and Supergrass. They were also considered by the British music press as one of the founders of Brit Pop. The band recorded four studio albums over a period of eight years. After the successful release of the "Submarine Song" in 1990, the band went into the studio to produce their first full length album Space I'm In with original bass and banjo player Richard (Mini) Brown.

The Scratch are a St.Albans based five peice band formed in 2002. Influences are mainly found in the realms of classic English rock from The Buzzcocks, T-Rex, The Kinks, Primal Scream, Blur, Happy Mondays, Be Bop Deluxe, Adam and the Ants, The Fire Engines, Killing Joke and Wire, but also include more modern acts such as Hot Chip, New Young Pony Club, Cage the Elephant and The Mighty Boosh and legendary US acts such as Devo, Pere Ubu, Sparks and The Nuggets compilation albums.

There are three artists using this name: (1) Based in Manchester U.K., The High were formed in '89 by John Matthews and guitarist Andy Couzens. Couzens was a former member of The Stone Roses and played guitar on the tracks 'So Young & 'Tell Me'. Their debut album 'Somewhere Soon' was released in 1990 on London Records. Their first three singles 'Box Set Go', 'Take Your Time' & 'Up & Down' were also released in 1990.
