Rebecca Black

Rebecca Black (born June 21, 1997) is an American singer who gained worldwide attention with her 2011 single "Friday". Her mother paid $4000 to have the single and an accompanying music video put out as a vanity release through the record label ARK Music Factory. The song was co-written and produced by Clarence Jey and Patrice Wilson of ARK Music Factory. After the video went viral on YouTube and other social media sites, "Friday" was derided by many music critics and viewers, who dubbed it "the worst song ever.

1) Were a Swindon, UK post-punk band active in the late 1980's, releasing two singles on RS Records, both in 1986, a 7" and a 12" respectively. A contemporary magazine, Melody Maker described them as 'The Cure meets The Cult'. Another magazine, Sounds, wrote: '...a cracking rock band in the rugged tense mode of Killing Joke and New Model Army'. 2) Ides of March are a deathcore band hailing from Perth, Australia. Onslaught

Onslaught are a British thrash metal band, formed in 1983 by Bristol rockers, guitarist Nige Rockett and drummer Steve Grice. Joined by Jase Pope and Paul Hill on vocals and bass respectively, the band initially drew influence from the second wave of Punk bands such as Discharge and The Exploited. A demo was recorded by this line up. Jase Pope and Paul Hill were soon to be replaced by Roge Davies and Paul Davies and the subsequent line-up recorded single "What Lies Ahead."

Revenant

There are at least 7 bands named Revenant: 1. Death/thrash U.S. band from late 80's/early 90's that at times featured members from Immolation and Incantation. Recorded a few demos, but only one full length called Prophecies of a Dying World, as well a couple of ep's. Split up during the mid 90's, yet made an attempt at reforming 2002 to release an ep only to split up again. 2. Revenant is a Thrash / Power / Speed Metal band from Hessen, Germany. One of the members ( Eric "Kalli" Kaldschmidt ) is in Abandoned.

Enforcer

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Enforcer is a Heavy Metal band formed in 2004 in Arvika, Sweden. Enforcer plays and performs in a style very similar to older speed metal bands like Agent Steel, Exciter and Anvil. When the Sweden Rock Magazine asked them about playing "old school", they answered that heavy metal isn't old school, it's timeless. They released their first album, Into the Night, through Heavy Artillery in late 2008. Members:

Goatwhore

Goatwhore is a blackened death metal band from the swamps of New Orleans, LA. They were formed by well known musicians from the Louisiana metal scene. They first came together in 1996/97 when Sammy Duet (former Acid Bath/Crowbar guitarist) and Zak Nolan (former drummer of Goatwhore, now replaced by Zack Simmons) jammed together as a little sideproject when Acid Bath was taking a break. They soon made some four track demos.

Kaledon

Kaledon was born in the second part of 1998 after the split between the lead guitarist Alex Mele and his band "River of change".
After the spilt Alex Mele called immediately the bass player Paolo Lezziroli and the rhythm guitarist Tommaso Nemesio.
After many line-up problems, the band started to play live in the big Roman theatres.
Kaledon replaced the original drummer "Daniele Staccini" for technical problems with Dario Sacco"
Kaledon's first release was in autumn of 1999. The band produced their first demo cd, "Spirit of the dragon" without keyboard.

Goliath

There are several bands named Goliath: 1. Goliath were a short-lived but very promising UK band, who were fronted by a lady singer called Linda Rothwell, a five foot nothing dynamo with the power of a lady twice her girth. The other members were Eric Eastman on drums & percussion, Joe Rosbotham on tenor sax & flute, Malcolm Grundy on guitar and John Williamson on bass. Their music had elements of rock, folk and blues, as well as an Eastern touch. A band with fantastic potential, they faded into obscurity, probably around the early 70's.

There are two artists with the name Addictive. The first is a uk bassline house duo of two girls who have had a top 10 hit in the dance charts with their T2 produced single "Gonna Be Mine". They recently released their bassline mixtape on itunes which features the hits "Chocolate Boy" and "DangerZone" The second is an Australian thrash metal band, who formed in 1988. They were part of the Sydney thrash metal scene of the late 1980s.

Xentrix

There are atleast 3 artists with this name;
(1) Formed in 1985 in Preston, Lancashire, British thrashers Xentrix (pronounced Zen-tricks) began their careers by playing metal covers before focusing all of their efforts on coming up with original material. Initially known as Sweet Vengeance, guitarist/vocalist Chris Astley, guitarist Kristian Havard, drummer Dennis Gasser and bassist Paul Mackenzie created enough of a stir through their live performances that the English branch of Roadrunner Records took notice and signed the group in January 1989.
