Big Star

Big Star is an American power pop band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1971 by Alex Chilton, Chris Bell, Jody Stephens and Andy Hummel. The group broke up in 1974. By the 1980s, they were recognised as one of rock music's classic groups. After the death of Chris Bell in 1978 and the deaths of both Alex Chilton and Andy Hummel in 2010, Jody Stephens is the last surviving original member of the group.

Jon Anderson, born John Roy Anderson[1] on 25 October 1944[2], is an English musician, best known as the lead singer of the progressive rock band Yes.[3] He is also an accomplished solo artist, and has collaborated with the Greek musician Vangelis, as part of the duo "Jon & Vangelis". Jon Anderson was born in the town of Accrington, Lancashire, England, in a family of Irish ancestry, his parents being Albert and Kathleen Anderson.[3] He was later to drop the "h" from his first name in 1971,[3] as he had a dream where he was given the name "Jonathan".

ChrisGoes(Australian) Billy’s new career was very much performance rather than hit driven. His group’s next albums where ‘Aztecs – Live’ (recorded at Melbourne Town Hall) and ‘Aztecs Live – At Sunbury’. The rise to popularity of this Aztecs coincided with the liberation of liquor regulations in Melbourne, bringing rock and roll out of the dances and clubs, and into the pubs. Despite or because of their volume, The Aztecs became the premier pub attraction.

The Omen

After a tumultuous year in 2009, The Omen return with a new line up, new music and a renewed vigour to play thrash in 2010. Joining Rory, Joel and Coops are the newly relocated Reece from Stand Defiant on Guitar, and Craigos from Seduction/In Name and Blood on vocals.
Together the group play a unique blend of flat stick thrash influenced from their love of Punk and Hardcore.
The Band have just released a 7inch record consiting 3 songs recorded live to the digital format by the band themselves, in the room where the band rehearse at Melbournes Three Phase studios.
