The Red Pills

Formed in September 2008, The Red Pills are Captain Mayhem, Major Layoff, Private Parts & General Ignorance. They are currently assaulting the West Yorkshire music scene with their catchy brand of punk 'n' roll and trademark vigorous performances. Originally called The Plastic Circus, the band attempted to find a new name that would encapsulate the new band ethos that arose from the addition of two new members.

Cinerama

Cinerama from Leeds, UK started life as a duo in 1997, The Wedding Present's David Gedge and his girlfriend Sally Murrell, together with a shifting line-up of collaborators. 1998's Va Va Voom "turbo-driven melodies and bittersweet vignettes taking in everything from John Barry to the Zombies" (The Times) featured The Church's Marty Willson-Piper and Emma Pollock from The Delgados. Then later in 1998, Gedge rescued the rhythm section of the disbanded Goya Dress ([Terry de Castro and Simon Pearson) and combined them with Wedding Present guitarist Simon Cleave.

Athlete

Athlete are an English indie rock/casio rock band. Their sound is a mix of indie rock and electronic music, most recently intergrating "organic sounds" into their music. Friends since the age of fourteen, Athlete have wide ranging influences that include Grandaddy and Flaming Lips (more detailed information about the band's influences can be found on their Last.fm user profile). They started jamming and practicing in the basement of The Bear, a pub which was converted into a church and sandwich bar, on Deptford High Street in 1999.

Endo

1/ Endo were a four-piece nu metal/hard rock music group from Miami, Florida. The band formed in 1995 with Lou Orenstein, Diego Ponsa, Reggie Barret, and Gil Bitton. A local production company, "Concrete Management", signed the band in the late 90's, where they opened for such bands as the Foo Fighters and Static-X. They were later signed to DV8/Columbia Records, and released two major albums in Evolve (2001) and Songs for the Restless (2003). The group also appeared at the Ozzfest Tour in 2003.
