There are at least three artists with this name: 1) Australian Heavy Metal Band (1981 ~ Present) Taipan are a 3 piece from Melbourne that has helped pioneer Heavy metal in Australia.
Their first e.p Breakout, sold 10,000 copies in Europe and the band has a strong worldwide fan base.They reformed in 2007 to record Stonewitch and have another album Flamethrower that has just been released & will be available on itunes shortly.

From the Ashes of Won't Step Aside there arose a new hardcore powerhouse in Vienna, Austria. Featuring members of Nothing to Lose, those four kids will make you mosh the hell out of every venue they play.
They just released their first Demo on tape and CD.

2) Deep Shit is a rock band from London, UK... 'mecha-fi... floats like a butterfly, stings like a metal wasp'. Tapes and cd-rs available on Riverside CA's Family Time Records. Further developments in pipeline.

Bloody Phoenix is a grindcore project from Los Angeles, USA.
Formed in 2001, featuring ex-members of LA's cult grinders Excruciating Terror. Blood Phoenix takes up where ExTx left off - blistering straight forward old school grindcore ala early Napalm Death. Their 2007 release "War, Hate & Misery" marks a return to underground grindcore.
