Stush

Like the name suggests $tush is an eclectic fusion of $ophistication, $treet savvy and $ex appeal. Hailing from South London this Princess of the Underground first graced the garage scene in 2001 with her dance floor anthem, “Dollar $ign”. An undisputed raver's favorite, her debut set clubs alight up and down the country as the masses drew to her unique lyrics and melodic style. From this point onwards the momentum was incredible and within a matter of months, $tush was both a role model and icon for girls who warmed to her Cindy Lauper, “Girls just wanna have fun” attitude.

Robedoor is the duo of Alex: slime, knives and distortion, and Notnotfun label head honcho Britt on fire, howls and cloaks...
Hmmm... but what does all that mean, sonically? Well, precisely what you might imagine. A blackened drone drenched world of slime and knives and fire, dense clouds of distorted howls, a thick cloak of fuzz and buzz wrapped around the proceedings like a thick, well, cloak! Actually this is a lot prettier than you might imagine. That is, if your idea of pretty includes tons of low end and a world of slow motion doomdrone.
