Dusk + Blackdown

It's been a long time coming, but dubstep hack Martin 'Blackdown' Clarke and co-producer Dusk have finally completed their A-Z of London's sonic landscape in the form of 'Margins Music'. Blackdown's writings on his hallowed blogpsot have long been hinting and suggesting at a music that encompasses the rich diversity of London's myriad of multi ethnic communities and their inherent territorialism. So alongside his trusty sidekick, the pair invite us for a mooch round their end.

Influenced by the golden years of Drum N Bass and a steady diet of dub and roots music, V.I.V.E.K has been honing his musical construction skills since 2004. Progressing naturally from DJing to production, and originally beginning to build music around the 170 tempo, 140 bpm was the pitch that worked for V.I.V.E.K to shape his unique subterranean groove.
With one 12" release under his belt for 'On The Edge', fellow soundscaper Silkie passed a CD of his productions to DMZ / Deep Medi visionary Mala.

Chrispy

There are, at least, two artists known as Chrispy. 1) A Liverpool, UK dubstep producer (b. Chris Snape, in Flint Mountain, North Wales - aka Chris "Chrispy" Snape), who has been active since late-2008. He is signed to Stupid Fly / 2 Much Bass Records. He regularly DJs on the dubstep radio station, Filth.FM. Sites: Discogs & http://SoundCloud.com/ChrispyDubstep. 2) Chris "Chrispy" Purington is a songwriter/composer who lives in Thousand Oaks, California. Using some various music programs, he writes and creates songs that are influenced by post-rock and electronic styles.

Zeds dead

Their name was derived from a scene in Tarantino's Pulp Fiction where Bruce Willis' character tells his girlfriend that the stolen bike they were going to ride belongs to Zed who he had killed earlier. Bigz is one of the UK's most recognisable and charismatic talent's both signed and unsigned. Born of Nigerian heritage and raised in the UK, music was his 3rd memorable love as a child after God, family (and food of course).
