Skream (born Oliver Jones in West Wickham, Bromley, UK.) is a 21 year-old dubstep producer based in Croydon. One of dubstep's first and most prominent producers, he has played an important role in the genre's development. Benga, real name Beni Uthman, is a dubstep music producer from Croydon, and is part of the Big Apple Records label. Ghetto

Justin Reggie Samuel Clarke (born October 9, 1984), better known by his stage name Ghetto is a hip hop and grime rapper from from Plaistow, Newham, East London. Justin Clarke grew up listening to hip hop, jazz, classical and gospel music. According to an interview in 2006, he acquired the nickname Ghetto because as a youth he was mischievous and his actions were classed as "ghetto". He spent two years in prison for robberies and several car offences. He is associated and has toured internationally with such acts as Kano and was a member of Nasty Crew.

Horsepower Productions are truly unique. Many credit them along side El-B for the creation of the genre that is 'dubstep' Their debut LP 'In Fine Style' was released in November 02 and was a collection of 6 new tracks - making up a double 12" (with bonus re-issue 'Gorgon Sound') and a single 13 track CD. The CD contained these seven tracks and a collection of other Horsepower 12"s now mainly out of press.

Shorty

There are 6 artists with the name Shorty. (1) Shorty was officially born in 1991 under the guise of vocalist Al Johnson and guitarist Mark Shippy. Along with drummer Todd Lamparelli and bassist Luke Frantom, they released three singles and two albums.
The group became Shorty and decided to officially keep the moniker in September. Atlanta, GA, label Worry Bird released the band's first 7", Last One in My Mouth Is a Jerk, late that year.
