Elephantine

Elephantine are a band from Trondheim, Norway, created around late 2007, and comprises Simon Nylund, Ørjan Langnes, Morten Telle, Tarjei Fiske Fjalestad and Gøran Gimsøy. The metal band is a musically harrowing image of how metal can, and perhaps should -sound like in 2011. We´re talking musical gravity in it´s purest form; Massive, guitar flooded heavy Rock. Have you seen a single band, giving everything on stage;
you know it´s quality that can´t be denied.

Table

There are three artists sharing the name Table; 1. Manchester-based six-piece Table are led by songwriter David O’Dowda, who combs together different strands of modern folk music to create something new and wonderful on this, their first seven-inch titled ‘Songs You Can Sing’. A record so strong it takes two decent labels, Humble Soul and Static Caravan to give it the full time partner it requires.

Atreides

Wie zegt dat de Nederlandse bandscene weinig te bieden heeft, heeft Atreides nog niet gehoord. Deze formatie van vier jongens en een zangeres staat garant voor bijzonder energieke live performances waarbij zowel publiek als band compleet in de muziek opgaat. De nummers doen in sfeer en toegankelijkheid denken aan Alter Bridge of Paramore, maar met gitaarsolo’s die variëren tussen Eddie van Halen en John Mayer. Ook weerklinkt af en toe de kalme, volle sound van Angels & Airwaves, maar toch staan veel nummers zo stevig als een huis in de stijl van Extreme of Story Of The Year.

DEVolution

1) DEVolution are a garage/dub duo consisting of Pete Devereux (Ex-Artful Dodger) and former Size Records artist Tom Devos. The DEVolution duo are writing, producing and playing music which can generally be described as in the dubstep genre, but which they call "Embrace the Bass". DEVolution write on their Facebook page [http://www.facebook.com/wearedevolution?sk=info] the following: "DEVolution is a natural progression for Pete Devereux, whose work with Artful Dodger helped to define the UK Garage scene as a major mainstream genre.

Tool

Formed around 1990 in Los Angeles, California, United States, by drummer Danny Carey, guitarist Adam Jones, vocalist Maynard James Keenan, and original bassist Paul d'Amour, Tool is a band that is most noted for combining alternative metal with a wide variety of progressive structures, irregular time signatures and lyrics that range from angry diatribes to meditations on philosophical and social matters.

Graves at Sea

Formed in 2002, originally hailing from Phoenix, AZ and now residing in Oakland, California, Graves at Sea play a very droney, slow, painful sounding type of sludge. With members coming from previous bands and one member having knowledge in sound engineering their first demo went extremely well and immediately caught some attention in the doom metal subculture, promptly causing the band to get signed and start producing legit material and in turn, gaining even more praise in the metal scene.
