The Knife

The Knife is an electronic duo from Stockholm, Sweden formed in 1999. The band consists of siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson (formerly of Honey is Cool, now Fever Ray) and Olof Dreijer - who also run their own record company, Rabid Records. The group rarely makes public appearances, most of their promotional photos feature the members wearing masks, and formerly refused to perform live concerts. However the group has showed themselves in public wearing masks formed as bird's beaks, similar to those used by medieval doctors.

Johnny D

As the son of Eritrean refugees, Johannes Debese a.k.a. Johnny D. became acquainted with a wide array of music styles at an early age – from Tigrinya, the Eritrean music of his heritage, to hip-hop, funk and soul. During the breakbeat-craze in the Rhein-Neckar delta he first came into contact with electronic music at the age of thirteen, soon afterward deciding to take to the turn tables. His first electronic music sets at modest breakbeat events followed, and Johnny D. quickly developed into a versatile artist active in the Mannheim Collective.

Care

There are two different artists named Care. 1: CARE is a lo-fi pop band hailing from Grand Rapids, MI. Their album Yellow Trumpet Comforter Swan can be found at http://care.bandcamp.com/ 2: Care was an alternative pop duo formed by Paul Simpson and Ian Broudie in 1983 in Liverpool, England. The band released a string of singles in the '80s under Broudie's production-moniker Kingbird (via Arista) but broke up without releasing an album.

Psychonauts

Three bands with the name Psychonauts exist : 1) DJ band formed by Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. 2) Psytrance duo from Greece. 3) Psychobilly band from Switzerland. 1)The Psychonauts are Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. Two school friends from Yeovil in Somerset. They became friends through a shared love of hip hop and disco. They started a club night known as the Night Of Cookers and mixed up hip hop, house and techno.

De De Mouse

De De Mouse is a J-electro artist from Koganei, Tokyo. His sound is characterized by trebly vocoder and electro lead synth with a house beat. Live performances are very enthusiastic and often accompanied by artistic visuals from Midori Kawano. De De Mouse's debut album "tide of stars" (2007) was the first release of ExT Recordings, a newly relaunched Tokyo electro label (fmr Transonic). 2007 also saw the release of mini-album "east end girl".

Lee Van Dowski

Lee Van Dowski is a young French artist who settled in Geneva with his wife and their two children in 2000 to fine-tune his production skills. For the last 5 years he has dedicated himself to composing punchy electronic pieces.Highly curious of all music styles and perhaps inspired by a stepfather well versed in musique concrète, he learned instruments at an early age. Also, LVD has actively participated to the massive and now legendary events of southern France in the mid-90s. Lee Van Dowski became a certified sound engineer, specialising in audio design.

IVVVO

Ivo Pacheco aka IVVVO is an amazing producer from Porto, Portugal.
A self-taught de-construction. IVVVO takes the electronic music as a wallpaper and his room as studio to create intimate, melancholic and dark tracks.

India

There at least two artist by the name of India, one from the United States and one from the United Kingdom. 1) A highly-emotive approach to Latin music has led to Puerto Rico-born and Bronx, New York-raised La India (born: Linda Viera Caballero) being dubbed, "The Princess of Salsa." Her 1994 album, Dicen Que Soy, spent months on the Latin charts. While known for her Salsa recordings, India started out recording Freestyle w/ her debut album Breaking Night in 1990 as well as lending her vocals to many house classics.
