The Winnie Coopers- Revenge of the Nerds Remember those students at school who sat down the front, did their homework and joined the student council? Taunted. Rejected. Disillusioned. They now seek revenge in the form of the Gold Coast hip hop crew, the Winnie Coopers. Initially, the project was a collaboration between The Educator (vocals) and DJ's Indelible and Webstar, and in 2002, they won the coveted Musicoz Hip Hop Award. Time passed. There were girls to marry, web design businesses to establish and karaoke bars to sing at.

Now residing in Sydney, Luke Dubs and Elgusto grew up in the Blue Mountains where they took up musical instruments at a young age. They’ve played together with Elgusto’s sister Aja in a funk/jazz group called Funk Injection since their early teens. Elgusto has DJ'd and played percussion with Paulmac and The Dissociatives... TZU are an Australian hip hop group, originating from Melbourne, Victoria. The group formed in 1999 as a side project combining members of Curse Ov Dialect and Pan. Members include Joelistics, Countbounce, Pasobionic and Yeroc. They are known for live shows with significant crowd involvement where they will often involve local MCs, and have been known to invite the entire audience on stage. TZU differs from typical hip hop groups because they use instruments in their performances.
