1) Karamel, sometimes stylized as KaraMel, was a bubblegum-pop duo from Toronto, Ontario, Canada that formed in 2008. KaraMel was made up of Kara Lane and Cassie Steele. The band originally appeared on the show disBAND, where the lineup was Kara and the original "Mel," Julie. Sarah Scherb later replaced the original "Mel" of the group. Due to Sarah wanting to go back to school, Cassie took Sarah's spot. Cassie left the band in March 2011, while Kara started a new project, titled The Boom Boom, officially putting an end to the Karamel project.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Pacific is drum'n'bass duo Matt Cox and Mark Soo from Vancouver, Canada. Nikki Yanofsky was born in Montreal (February 8, 1994) with an extraordinary gift… a magical voice. Singing since she could speak, she began her career by performing in front of small audiences in Stowe, Vermont. As her passion for music grew, so did her voice. By age eleven, she was ready for the next step… and the timing was impeccable. She performed two songs at the annual Maimonides Battle of the Bands fundraiser at Club Soda with her father’s band, the Past Their Prime-Time Players. Nikki captivated the spectators with her powerful voice and velvety tone.

Article One is a Christian rock band from London, Ontario. The band originally performed under the name Appertain Display but has since adopted the name Article One in honour of article one of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The group consists of Nathan Piche (vocals, guitar, and keys), Matt Piche (violin and vocals), Dave DeSmit (drums and vocals) and Mark Laidman (bass guitar). The band is currently signed under the label Inpop Records.
