Navvy are a 4 piece group from Sheffield. Keith plays bass and sings; Claire sings and plays percussion and keyboards; Marie plays the drums and Daf plays the guitar. The band formed in 2006 from the ashes of several underground Sheffield bands, and their first session with Pulp's erstwhile producer Alan Smyth resulted their debut E.P. called "4 Songs By Navvy". Navvy's sound is sometimes angular and ferocious and sometimes poppy. Their songs are usually concerned with longevity and dysfunction.

Driftrun comprise of four lads in their 20’s from Sheffield. Tony, Rich and Gilly all went to the same school and Tony met Chris at work in the ‘spilt factory’. After 3 years of crafting their sound, Driftrun are one of the most prominent names around on the Sheffield scene now. Never in their history have Driftrun been so confident that their music is heading in the right direction for them. The band somehow have found a way to fuse their passion for quality production, melody and rhythm, and in doing so have broken the mold of a typical local guitar based band.
Siiiii were born in early 1983 when singer Paul, then only 19, moved from his native East Anglia to Sheffield purely to be in the band, joining guitarist Mark, and bassist Ange. Taking their name from William Burroughs' "The Soft Machine" they gigged extensively during the early to mid 1980's and possibly hold the record for the amount of times they were nearly signed to record labels. Siiiii disbanded in 1986 and the members went their separate ways. Mark went on to play with the Anti-Group and Paul became involved in The Niceville Tampa (now Niceville) and then DVO in South Wales.
