In un caldo pomeriggio d'estate, due giovani intellettuali, con in comune la passione per le serie tv e i film interpretati da Gianna Micheals danno vita ai GROEN. GROEN è un progetto in cui la follia avanguardistica di Groenlaz si fonde con lo spumeggiante virtuosismo di Oas (già noto per essere membro di The Frogman Prog Trio). La musica è caratterizzata da un susseguirsi di emozioni contrastanti fra loro, talvolta intense, talvolta rarefatte che annichiliscono e travolgono l'ascoltare, lasciando un senso di confusione sia fisica che mentale.

Ian Read founded Fire + Ice in 1991 after several years as a member of Sol Invictus. According to their sole website, "The heartlessness of the modern commercial consumer society ruins the lives of many. FIRE + ICE takes the purity and philosophy of early music and melds it into a message redolent with powerful seeds of honour, truth, loyalty and the bond of true friendship." The music reflects Read's keen interests in magic lore, runes, tradition, renaissance medievalism, Nordic mysticism and other esoteric and occult mysteries.

There are three artists that use the name NON: 1) Under the name NON, originally with second member Robert Turman, Boyd Rice has recorded several seminal noise music albums, and collaborated with experimental music/dark folk artists like Current 93, Death in June, Rose McDowall and with Coil as Sickness of Snakes. Most of his music has been released on the Mute Records label. Rice has also collaborated with Foetus, Z'ev, Frank Tovey, Tony Wakeford of Sol Invictus, Douglas P. of Death in June and Michael Moynihan of Blood Axis.

Brecht/Eisler-songs, revised german folksongs, songs from the working-class movement in new adaptions by OliverAugst, Marcel Daemgen and Christoph Korn Rearranged songs, folk songs, Romanticism, socialist worker songs, songs from Brecht/Eisler, and many more form the core of the band’s work. Founded in 1998, the original cast of the band “arbeit“ (“work”) – Marcel Daemgen, Oliver Augst and Christoph Korn – so far has solely published studio material.
