Aghast!

AGHAST! are a UK based band from London. They have a reputation for putting on an incendiary and charismatic live show. They are currently working their way up through the UK's underground, carving out a niche for themselves since 2008. Their name is spelt in capitals and with an exclamation mark. This came from a promoter in Leeds who initially booked them for one show, which became three nights, one after the other. By the end he billed them as "and AGHAST! again" and it stuck.

Rose Rovine e Amanti is a musical project based in Rome lead by Damiano Mercuri aided by Noemi York Christian Valente and Giuseppe Lorenzoni. The sound has changed through the years from a pure neo-folk to a wider range of sounds. The music is a brilliant mixture of acoustic neofolk-rock with some bitter songwirtin’ tunes. Tanghetto is a Buenos Aires-based band that focuses its material in the combination of Argentine tango with electronic music, jazz and other musical genres. The “Tanghetto sound” is rather unique; it's a fusion of diverse sources of inspiration, both contemporary and traditional, that converge in Buenos Aires with the bandoneon (the nostalgic and characteristic instrument of the tango). Bandoneon takes the singer's role and is surrounded by diverse acoustic instruments and a sonic wall of synths and samplers.

Anonymous 4 is a female a cappella quartet, based in New York City. Their main performance genre is medieval music, although they have also premiered works by living composers such as John Tavener and Steve Reich. Anonymous 4 has performed in cities throughout North America, and have been regulars at major international festivals. They decided to make the 2003-2004 season their last as a full-time recording and touring ensemble, although special projects (such as their Gloryland CD and their "Long Time Traveling" Tour) continue to bring them together on occasion.
