Kronos Quartet, Kimmo Pohjonen & Samuli Kosminen

Uniko is a seven-part work composed by Pohjonen and Kosminen which had its World Premiere concert with Kronos Quartet at the prestigious Helsinki Festival in 2004. Subsequent Uniko performances took place in Moscow, Norway and eventually led to its North American Premiere with three sold-out concerts at the BAM NEXT WAVE Festival in New York in 2007. Uniko was recorded at Avatar Studios in NYC immediately following the BAM concerts with production by Iceland’s Valgeir Sigurdsson, known for his work with Björk and others.

Lisa Gerrard

Lisa Gerrard (born April 12, 1961) is an Irish-Australian musician, singer and composer who gained international renown as part of the music group Dead Can Dance together with Brendan Perry. Her career spans from 1981 to the present, and she has been involved in a wide range of projects. Gerrard received a Golden Globe award and her score for the 2000 film Gladiator received an Academy Award nomination. She both sings and is instrumentalist for much of her work, most prolifically using the (a Chinese hammered dulcimer).

Kolo

There are two artists with the name Kolo: 1) Kolo (Коло) is a Folk/Ambient band from Ukraine featuring Munruthel of Nokturnal Mortum fame. The band has released one album so far, the self-titled KOLO in 2005. Kolo's music can be described as joyful folk melodies on electronica rhythms.
2) A band from Exeter that formed in the summer of 2005 by three former schoolmates, Kolo have established a large nationwide fanbase through a combination of their intensive gigging and the distribution of their acclaimed debut release...

Ides of Gemini

Ides of Gemini are Black Math Horseman's Sera Timms (vocals/bass), veteran music and film journalist J. Bennett (guitar/backing vocals) and Kelly Johnston (drums/backing vocals). In 2010, Timms and Bennett recorded and self-released a four-song EP, The Disruption Writ. Later Johnston joined the band, and in 2012 they released their full-length debut, Constantinople.
