Bic Runga

Briolette Kah Bic Runga (born 13 January 1976) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter whose first solo album, Drive, debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts, and has since become one of the highest-selling New Zealand artists of our time. Runga has also found success internationally in Australia and the UK. Regarding the pronunciation of "Bic": "You say it Bec, rather than Bic", she explains. "It's Chinese, it's a strange vowel sound which doesn't seem to translate in English. It means the colour of jade, which I suppose is just green."

Conor Oberst

Conor Oberst is an American born February 15, 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska. He began his recording career in 1993 at the age of 13 and has since produced an enormous amount of material. Conor was deeply influenced early on by singer-songwriters David Dondero and Simon Joyner. His first two albums "Water" and "Here's to Special Treatment" were both released in 1994. Rolling Stone has referred to him as "'s boy genius.

The Candy Twins

The Candy Twins are a four-piece indiepop/rock band from the London and Surrey area, formed in mid 2007. Their first label release is a five-track CD-r EP for Lostmusic Records (February 2009) including the download single, Good Friends. Their sound has been compared to The Wedding Present, Paul Weller, This Poison!, Edsel Auctioneer, Decoration, and Billy Bragg amongst others. Sounds XP described it as 'prime time 80s jangly indiepop.'

Fauve

Geneva-born Nicolas Julliard decided to become Fauve in 1999. His previous non-career moves include various participations in unknown bands such as Grammar & Use and Illford. Fauve explores the margins of songwriting, blending pop, minimal electro, Broadway melodies, easy-listening and bossa-nova. French magazine "Les Inrockuptibles" awarded him a spot in their annual compilation CD "Ceux qu'il faut découvrir". That was in 2004, when Fauve was known as Sombre. Since then, Fauve has collected enough material to produce his first album, released in spring 2006 by Gentlemen Records.

MUTEMATH

MUTEMATH is an band which formed in New Orleans, LA, United States in 2003. They consist of Paul Meany (vocals, keytar, keyboards, samples), Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas (bass, percussion), Darren King (drums, samples), and Todd Gummerman (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). Since MUTEMATH released its first EP in late 2004 and hit the road in 2005, their inherent nature has challenged limitations and expanded parameters.
