Rummaging through the bones of 60s pop, late 70s post-punk, 80s and 90s noise rock, Melbourne four piece Witch Hats are the ideal antidote to a world that celebrates the vacuous pursuits of the celebrity classes, cheap corporate rhetoric and the disposable lifestyle. Think The Birthday Party jamming with Andrew Wk while Mark E. Smith and The Beatles look on knowingly, and you get some idea of the Witch Hats sound.

Rosa Alchemica is a 4 piece contemporary post punk band, formed in 2005. The band’s name originates from William Butler Yeats philosophising novel and study of alchemist’s bearing the same name. Singer Eddie Darko and lead guitarist Andreas Marian first met in their hometown of Tartu, Estonia many moons ago. They both trod separate paths to London, England where they formed Rosa Alchemica. Black Rainbows Formed in 2005. They Started as a joke to have fun with some heavy psychedelic, stoner, desert tunes. But after recording their first full length “Twilight in the Desert” they were picked up from Longfellow Deeds Records (a French Rock Label site in Paris). In these years, they continue to smarten up their sound with a dozen live shows, sharing the stage with many cool bands; like Dead Meadow, Black Mountain, Los Natas, Witchcraft,White Hills, Michael Davis from MC5, Vic Du Monte’s Persona Non Grata and Alfredo Hernandez from Kyuss.

There are several bands using this name: 1. Lithium was a Swedish electronic industrial band formed by Johnny Hagel(previously in bands like Tiamat and Sundown), and Carl Nilsson(previously in Moth). They released their album Cold in 2002 which met with moderate success and tours to follow, including performances at festivals like M'era Luna.
Work commenced in 2003 with a new album which was finished in 2004, but was never released due to problems with the record label, finally leading to the band being dropped altogether and disbanding shortly thereafter.
