Eef Barzelay

Eef Barzelay (born Ifar Barzelay in Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 12, 1970) is an Israeli-born American musician. Mostly known as the principal songwriter and singer of alt country band Clem Snide, Barzelay has been performing since 1991. Early on this included stints in a number of Boston-based bands, while later he has toured as a solo act, both as headliner and as international support. Barzelay was raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He enjoys old-timey music but also has an out-of-left-field interest in the apocalyptic and the ways human folly and failure might influence it.

Borderline

There are at least ten bands who have used this name. 1) A band from Woodstock, NY formed in 1971. They had close ties to The Band through Garth Hudson and Richard Manuel. John Simon, producer of the first two Band albums even produced the first Borderline album. The second Borderline album remained unreleased until 2001. 2) SXE old school hardcore band from California, one of the members was Popeye, who later started Farside. Borderline released a 7" EP titled "Unseen" in 1990.

Benny Goodman

Benny Goodman, born Benjamin David Goodman, (May 30, 1909 – June 13, 1986) was an American musician, known as King of Swing, Patriarch of the Clarinet, The Professor, and Swing's Senior Statesman. Goodman was regarded by some as a demanding taskmaster, by others an arrogant and eccentric martinet. Many musicians spoke of The Ray, Goodman's trademark glare that he bestowed on a musician who failed to perform to his demanding standards.

Marti is the brain child of songwriter and actor Andrea Bruschi. Their debut album 'Unmade Beds' is a 12 song affair. The songs were composed in Andrea's bedroom where he keeps his Fender Rhodes.
The album has been artistically produced by italian songwriter/producer Paolo Benvegnu' and Andrea Franchi for Swiss company Wildside Media and Italian Greenfog Records.
European music, New wave, 80's technopop, cabaret, musicals and torch songs artists are the main influences.

Sleepmakeswaves

Sleepmakeswaves are an instrumental rock band from Sydney, Australia. Drawing influences mainly from but not limited to post-rock, the young quartet mix driving metallic bombast with textured electronics to create a sonic space where delicate melodies and thunderous climaxes peacefully co-exist. Since their formation in late 2006, sleepmakeswaves have rapidly established themselves as a promising and unique voice in their field.

Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street Preachers (often known colloquially as "The Manics") are a Welsh rock band often associated with the resurgence of British rock in the early 90s, who gained mainstream popularity in the UK at the time. They are known for their intelligent and often political lyrics and have a dedicated cult following. Although during the early part of their career they were regarded as a punk rock band, their music is now often generally regarded as alternative rock, due to changes in their sound.

Squid

There are more than one band with this name: 1 - Squid were a 90’s industrial/hard rock band based in Preston, Lancashire in the UK. The band’s first demo, “Gendercide” was released in 1996 and the following year they released a 7-track EP entitled “Prophetishism.” Squid released their first full-length album in 1999 entitled “The Bitter Saint’s Abortion.” Though the group was never signed, they gained a considerable following in the UK, and were twice voted as “Best Unsigned Band” in Metal Hammer magazine’s annual reader’s poll in consecutive years, 1999 and 2000.
