There are, at least, three artists known as Playgroup. 1) A pseudonym of London, UK electroclash / electro house producer & graphic designer Trevor Jackson (aka UNDERDOG). Jackson also ran, the now defunct, Output Recordings. Discography: Make It Happen! (2000), Playgroup (2001, brought diverse influences, inc: funk, disco, hip-hop, electro & dub - creating an album that relies heavily on the past, only to reshape, with such vigour, that it might sound too modern, for its own good), several more releases followed, Reproduction (2004, a remix album) & Front 2 Back (feat. In January 2000 two clever friends handed Scott Edwards a copy of buzz and a cdr full of samples. These were fused with a mind full of sounds crossing everything from Tangerine Dream to a Roots Supercharger and Avus was born. By this time Scott had already been honing his DJ talents for many years gaining a residency at London's Glasshouse, his own radio show and playing numerous sets around some of Britain's best (and indeed dodgiest) sweatpits.

Profile: Prolific London, UK based DJ/producer who debuted on Blueprint in 1996. Founded his own label, Meta in 1997 and continued to develop his style towards a more dancefloor friendly brand of funky tribal techno, while retaining experimental elements and continuing to produce for other labels. Later set up a number of sublabels under Meta to cater for a widening repertoire of electronic styles, incorporating influences from jazz, funk, fusion, rock and avant garde styles of all kinds.

Born into a family of traditional musicians and the son of a father who was already spinning records in the late sixties, Chaim grew up to become a complex producer. Influenced by Moroccan music he heard at home while growing up, and the sound of Chicago House he fell in love with while working as a light jockey in his local clubs, his productions tell a story of a sensitive musician from Tel Aviv.
Pig & Dan are made up on producers Dan Duncan & Igor Tchkotoua (Pig). They met a number of years ago and from there have developed an extremly solid and fruitful partnership. After a few months of producing together they signed a deal with Dutch label, Sadie Records, they began to enter into the market and gain success. This gave the duo a boost and they started to produce two/three tunes a week. They then decided that it would be a good idea to build their own record company 'Submission' and work together with Sadie to create a bigger market.
