NO

There are at least seven bands with this name, although it's likely that more exist. The first is a metal band, formed in 2000 by the vocalist Bernd Eitel in the German town of Moenchengladbach. After undergoing a few lineup changes over the years the band is now: Bernd, Martyn, Heiner, Karsten and David. NO have gigged extensively in Germany and also played shows in Switzerland and Holland. In March 2006 NO released their demo CD "...is still the best answer to almost every question" and played a release show in their hometown.

Nik Bartsch's Ronin

"There are two paths a samurai can walk: that of a clan member, and that of a ronin, a free warrior." The ZEN-FUNK quintet RONIN was founded in 2001, consisting of Nik Baertsch (composition, piano, fender rhodes), Kaspar Rast (drums), Björn Meyer (bass), Andi Pupato (percussion) and Sha (bass- and contrabass clarinet). Their RITUAL GROOVE MUSIC consistently follows the same aesthetic vision under various instrumental guises: creating the maximum effect by minimal means.

Dustin O'Halloran

A self-taught pianist from the age of 7, Dustin O'Halloran's personal histories give us some clue to the thickly-woven tapestries of his music: he has lived in LA (where he studied art at Santa Monica College and formed the much-adored Devics with Sara Lov), Italy (in the depths of rural Emilia Romagna) and Berlin. His arresting, heartbreaking music is as much an elegant exercise in nuance and grace as it is a pure, intuitive, personal expression – and here is where we see some explanation into Dustin's quiet rise to notoriety and his continued ascension.

Lubomyr Melnyk

http://www.lubomyr.com Continuous music exists when the harmony becomes involved with the sound of the instrument. One of the main composers of continuous music is Lubomyr Melnyk, who, through his works for solo piano, two pianos, and piano quartets occasionally accompanied by small ensembles, explores new directions in contemporary classical music. A listener of continuous music falls into a trance-like state.
