Harbinger

There are more than one band under this name: 1) Harbinger is a band formed in 1997 in Berkeley, California featuring three prominent members from the East Bay punk scene: Robert Eggplant (vocals/guitar), formerly of Blatz, The Hope Bombs, and editor of the zine Absolutely Zippo, Aaron Cometbus (drums), founding member of Crimpshrine and author of legendary punk zine Cometbus, John Geek (bass/vocals) of Fleshies and the S.P.A.M. Records collective.

Sex Gang Children

Sex Gang Children is an early gothic rock group that formed in the early 1980s in Britain. They were a very dramatic band, relying on heavy bass, tribal drumming, sudden mood shifts, a woozy cabaret ready sound that influenced the rise of the later dark cabaret scene, and yet another in a long line of goth singers with an odd, highly dramatic voice. Although the group only released one official album, their singles and various other tracks have been packaged into numerous collections, and they remain one of the better known bands out of the early goth scene.

The Smiths

The Smiths were an English band from Manchester, UK formed in 1982 consisting of Steven Patrick Morrissey (Vocals, Lyrics), Johnny Marr (Guitar, Music), Mike Joyce (Drums) and Andy Rourke (Bass). Hugely influential, The Smiths lasted all of five years from 1982 to 1987, releasing during this period four studio albums (The Smiths , Meat Is Murder , The Queen Is Dead and finally Strangeways, Here We Come ) and three compilation albums (Hatful of Hollow, The World Won't Listen and Louder Than Bombs).

The Nolans

The Nolans, sometimes billed as The Nolan Sisters are siblings born in Ireland and the United Kingdom who reached the peak of their success as a singing act in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Gestalt

Gestalt was formed in 1982 in Lyon. The group draws from the musical Pantheon where Jim Morrisson and Léo Ferré, Hawkwind and Béla Bartok cross, and the most inventive formations of the moment, like Tuxedomoon or Mechanic. In this asserted eclecticism, it is especially its own way which Gestalt seeks. That of a dark energy rock'n'roll interfered research in the compositions.

Gravedigger V

The Gravedigger V started as The Shamen by singer Leighton Koizumi, 16, and 15 yr old bassist Chris Gast, and included ace guitarist Ted Friedman, 16, punk-rock drummer, Matt, (last name and whereabouts unknown,) replaced by the spectacular drummer Dave Anderson. Rounding up this line-up of strange beings was enigmatic guitarist John Hanrattie. Informed at gig #1 that The Shamen was taken as a name, (by about a zillion bands worldwide), the group sat at Bob's Big Boy for hours coming up with a replacement name.

Aqua

Aqua is a danish-norwegian dance-pop group, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single Barbie Girl. Initially forming as Joyspeed in 1989, the band was renamed Aqua in 1994 and achieved huge success across the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles. The group released two albums: Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before splitting up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most successful Danish band ever and the second most successful Norwegian band.
