Bridie Jackson and the Arbour

Bridie Jackson & The Arbour are from Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK . They launched their début album, Bitter Lullabies, with a sold-out show at The Sage Gateshead in January 2012.

She comes from a musical family, and while travelling Europe with her father, she was introduced to many musical styles including the Portuguese Fado tradition, the influence of which can be heard in her work.

Out of the Blue

There are at least six known bands with the name Out of the Blue: 1) out of the blue is a pop-punk band from Providence, Rhode Island. "Rockapella" is a portmanteau of "rock" and "a cappella". In addition to original vocal music, the group also perform a cappella covers of pop songs. The original group members consisted of Brown University alumni Elliott Kerman, David Stix, Sean Altman, and Steve Keyes, who started performing together sheerly out of their love for music.

Sweet Honey In The Rock

Sweet Honey in the Rock is an all-woman, African-American a cappella ensemble that has been producing music for more than thirty years. Although the members of the group have changed over time, the music of Sweet Honey in the Rock has consistently combined contemporary rhythms and narratives with a musical style rooted in the gospel music, spirituals and hymns of the Black church. Sweet Honey in the Rock was founded in 1973 by Bernice Johnson Reagon who formed the group out of the strongest singers from a vocal workshop she was teaching with the D.

The Other Guys

There are at least four groups known as The Other Guys. 1.) The Other Guys is an alternative hip-hop duo consisting of Mighty Joe & Isaiah Insanate Mensah, from the DC area. 2.) The Other Guys is an all-male a cappella group from the University of Illinois, and was founded in the 1968-69 school year. 3.) The Other Guys also refers to an all-male a capella band from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. They have an album called 'Well Sung' and have found recent hit success with their youtube video 'Royal Romance'
