The Arrivals

The Arrivals are a four piece from Blue Island, Illinois, Southside of Chicago. They write songs about everything and nothing, sometimes all at once. They sound like Mission of Burma trying to write Kinks songs, though most people have their own f-ed up description that may be just as valid. They've toured with Dillinger Four(with whom they now share a bass player), The Soviettes, Toys That Kill, Rise Against, Tiltwheel, Vena Cava, Grabass Charlestons, and The Lawrence Arms.

Disco Ensemble

Disco Ensemble was formed in in Pori, Finland. For many years the band has been in the basements and underground-venues, writing songs and playing shows that would have put any band in the limelight to shame. From periods ranging from progressive hardcore to more accessible punk rock, childhood friends Mikko (drums) and Jussi (guitar), bassist Lasse and vocalist Miikka have been Finland's best kept secret for too long.

This caught the attention of the buzz punk/indie label, Run for Cover Records (Tigers Jaw, Title Fight, Man Overboard) and the band soon released their debut LP 'Winter Forever' via RFC.

Desaparecidos

Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.
