1) Early NY hip-hop, featured on the Soul Jazz compilation Big Apple Rappin' 2) Xanadu is a 6 man folk rock band which won Battle of the Bands in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2006. The guys were only 18 or so at the time of winning the competition. By winning they were given the opportunity to record their debut and only album to this day. Warsaw Village Band

True to their name, Warsaw Village Band (in polish: Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa )is based out of Warsaw, Poland, and combine traditional Polish folk music with modern sound elements. In juxtaposing traditional instruments - including frame drums, hurdy gurdys, "white voice" style singing and the rarely-heard suka bilgoraiska - and electronica, they create a sound that has been described as "hardcore folk" and "bio-techno."

3) Hardcore band from Chicago. 1) Hate was formed in Warsaw, Poland in 1990 by guitarist and vocalist Adam The First Sinner, guitarist Qack and drummer Mittloff. Between 1990 and 1995 the band recorded 3 demo tapes, Aborrence (1992), Evil Art (1994) and Unwritten Law (1995).

Decapitated

Decapitated is a technical death metal band from Poland. They formed in 1996 in Krosno in southern Poland, when all the members were still attending music school. They released their first demo Cemeterial Gardens in 1997 and their second demo, The Eye of Horus in 1998. After these releases, the band was considered as genuine contenders of the underground metal community, and eventually signed with Wicked World/Earache Records for the release of the debut album, Winds of Creation.

Ten Typ Mes

Ten Typ Mes, also known as Mes (real name Piotr Szmidt) is a Polish artist born in 1982 in Warsaw, Poland. He started out his musical career as a member of Flexxip, at first a four member band and later on only Mes and Emil Blef. His first appearances on productions are connected to "Muzyka Klasyczna" by Pezet, "Al-hub" by Red and vinyl compilations where he appeared with Flexxip and 2cztery7. An important moment in his career was an appearance on Kodex by Magiera and L.A. together with Emil Blef (as Flexxip) and Pezet.

1. Band from Stockholm, Sweden.
2. 90s Straight Edge Hardcore band from Pennsylvania, USA. Members went on to form Stillwater and Atari.
3. Band from Australia (1992 - 1995) that appeared on the Summershine label. 1. Blindside is a / band from Stockholm. They formed in 1994 as "underFree" and kept that name for two years before releasing their debut EP in 1996.

Pustki

Pustki is Polish band formed in 1999, in a small town, Ostrówek, near Warsaw. Their discography includes five albums: "Studio Pustki" (Antena Krzyku, April 2001), "8 Ohm" (Polskie Radio, April 2004), "Do Mi No" (Polskie Radio, March 2006), "Koniec kryzysu" (Agora, 2008) and "Kalambury" (Agora, 2009). Journalists have always problems with describing the music of Pustki with one term. For those who read the critics of "Studio Pustki" (LP, Antena Krzyku, 2001) the mysterious inventions like: proto-rock, impro-pre-punk-rock, are, if nothing else, meaningless.
