1) Early NY hip-hop, featured on the Soul Jazz compilation Big Apple Rappin' 2) Xanadu is a 6 man folk rock band which won Battle of the Bands in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2006. The guys were only 18 or so at the time of winning the competition. By winning they were given the opportunity to record their debut and only album to this day. Their impressive instrumental talent coupled with lead singer Brian Payne's voice create a music genre set apart. 3) Xanadu is progressive rock band from Poland. True to their name, Warsaw Village Band (in polish: Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa )is based out of Warsaw, Poland, and combine traditional Polish folk music with modern sound elements. In juxtaposing traditional instruments - including frame drums, hurdy gurdys, "white voice" style singing and the rarely-heard suka bilgoraiska - and electronica, they create a sound that has been described as "hardcore folk" and "bio-techno."

Decapitated is a technical death metal band from Poland. They formed in 1996 in Krosno in southern Poland, when all the members were still attending music school. They released their first demo Cemeterial Gardens in 1997 and their second demo, The Eye of Horus in 1998. After these releases, the band was considered as genuine contenders of the underground metal community, and eventually signed with Wicked World/Earache Records for the release of the debut album, Winds of Creation.

1. Band from Stockholm, Sweden.
2. 90s Straight Edge Hardcore band from Pennsylvania, USA. Members went on to form Stillwater and Atari.
3. Band from Australia (1992 - 1995) that appeared on the Summershine label. 1. Blindside is a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Stockholm. They formed in 1994 as "underFree" and kept that name for two years before releasing their debut EP in 1996.
