Jookabox

Jookabox, the name of Indianapolis native David "Moose" Adamson's musical project, presents the result of an evolution from his former collaboration: "Grampall Jookabox." When David was in grade school, his uncle took note of his developing interest in hip-hop and loaned him a four-track. They mixed tracks together and the young Adamson would write rhymes to sing over them, including a double-boombox sequel to Fu-Schnicken's "What's Up Doc (Can We Rock?)" called "Sufferin' Succotash (I Got Whiplash)" At first the beats came from instrumental sides of cassette singles...

Refused

Refused is a hardcore punk band originating from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1991. The band's final lineup comprised its founding members, vocalist Dennis Lyxzén and drummer David Sandström, as well as guitarists Kristofer Steen and Jon Brännström. Their lyrics were often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature. The band released five EPs and three albums before initially splitting up in 1998.

Experimental Pop Band

Formed in Bristol in 1996, the Experimental Pop Band originated as a studio band who included Davey Woodward (vocals) Chris Galvin (bass) and Corin Dingley (drums and keys). the band released a series of singles that gained critical acclaim from national music press including single of the week with the track 'boutique in my backyard' later covered by Sophie Ellis Baxter's theaudience. First ablum was a compilation of 4 eps named 'Woof' released on the Swarf Finger label. Corin left the band to form Alpha with Keith Bailey (drums) and Joe Rooney (keyboards) joining in mid 1996.

Kazuki Tomokawa

Tenji Nozoki (????) (born February 16, 1950), best known by the stage name Kazuki Tomokawa (?? ???), is a prolific Japanese musician, active in the Japanese music scene since the early seventies. He is often described as a "screaming philosopher". Multi-talented Kazuki Tomokawa (?????, singer, author, actor, painter, raconteur) remains curiously unappreciated in the West, in spite of creating some of the most consistently inspired, emotionally resonant outsider folk music of recent years.
