There are 3 bands known as Wolfpack; 1) Wolfpack was the former name of the Swedish hardcore punk/d-beat band Wolfbrigade. Wolfpack changed their bandname to Wolfbrigade after a right wing racist community started using the name "Wolfpack"; they did not want to be associated with right wing politics. 2) Wolfpack were a 5-piece thrash/traditional metal band from Preston, UK. They released one album entitled "Total Head Removal" before changing their name to Salem (UK) and releasing a demo called "Impending Doom"
Refused is a hardcore punk band originating from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1991. The band's final lineup comprised its founding members, vocalist Dennis Lyxzén and drummer David Sandström, as well as guitarists Kristofer Steen and Jon Brännström. Their lyrics were often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature. The band released five EPs and three albums before initially splitting up in 1998.
Massgrav is a high-energy hardcore punk band from Stockholm, Sweden. Back in the early '90s Johan and Ola used to hang out, drinking a lot of cheap wine while they were listening to old Mob 47 tapes and Discharge records (well, mostly the a-side on "Why" since Ola had glued it to his recordplate during a drinking session...) The Boys decided that it was time they did something on their own, so they wrote a few songs and formed Massgrav.
Hardcore Band from Sweden There was also a hardcore band from Erie, Pennsylvania by the name of Anchor. They put out one album 'Shipwrecked Life'. There's also a japanese hardcore band with that name.
1) Striker are a speed metal band from Edmonton, Canada, with their first release being the 'Road Warrior' EP. Their debut full length album "Eyes in the Night" was made available on April 10, 2010. It's about time for another Canadian high-octane band to set the world on fire. Standing on the shoulders of Canadian giants like Annihilator, Exciter, Cauldron and the best of European and American Speed Metal, STRIKER certainly are one of the finest newcomers from Canada in the last decade.
1. Norways Shipwrecked (NOT to be confused with the American band called Shipwreck) is a hardcore punk band including members from Onward, Enforcer, Common Cause, Insurance Risk and Award. They put out a demo in 2004, a 7" EP in 2005 and after several years' hiatus an LP entitled "The Last Pagans" in early 2012. 2. Shipwrecked is a hardcore/metal band from Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, pushing the limits between genres such as sludge, hardcore and progressive.
