Blaqk Audio

Blaqk Audio is an electronic project from Oakland, United States, created by and consisting of Davey Havok as lyricist and vocalist and Jade Puget writing music and programming synthesizers. Both Jade and Davey are members of the band AFI. Blaqk Audio were signed to Interscope Records, their debut album, CexCells, was released on August 14, 2007. The first single from the album is 'Stiff Kittens', revealed by Jade on the BA myspace blog.

The Presets

The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets. The Presets have been one of the biggest bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron.

Bachelorette

Bachelorette is the solo delivery vehicle for New Zealand based home recording tinkerer Annabel Alpers, with a little help from her friends Andrea Holmes (ex Fang) and local legend Mick Elborado. Annabel's music career started out venting Christchurch teen frustration in a "beginner indie" band called Mouse. Fortunately, things soon got better. She graduated to keys, guitars and vocals in the much underrated Hawaii Five-O, who were popular in Christchurch for their psychedelic surf sounds and country tinged old school rock‚n‚roll.

Lo-Fi-Fnk

Lo-Fi-Fnk (pronounced: LO-FI-FUNK) are from Stockholm, Sweden and are signed to indie label La Vida Locash. They consist of vocals/instruments by Leo and rap/drums by August. They are now also part of Moshi Moshi records, with their album "Boylife" released in the UK in autumn 2006. Singles released have been "Wake Up/Change Channel" on 7" on Moshi Moshi, "Wake Up" on 12" on Moshi Moshi with Justus Kohncke and Beckster remixes, and "Change Channel" on Moshi Moshi with Jitset, Danton Eeprom and Kaos remixes.

Temper Temper

There is more than one act that uses the name Temper Temper: 1) From Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and fronted by Patrick Fuller, Temper Temper is a dark synth rock/punk band. Signed by Revelation Records, their self-titled album came out in 2005 and was directed by Jim Diamond (White Stripes). Band is known for its charismatic live performances, with Patrick Fuller throwing himself into the crowd, where - in full body pass - he never misses a note.

New Young Pony Club

New Young Pony Club (NYPC) is a five-piece electro band from London consisting of Tahita Bulmer (vocals), Andy Spence (guitar), Igor Volk (bass) Lou Hayter (keyboards) and Sarah Jones (drums), and they provide a kind of tight and bass-heavy future discoid noise. Partly inspired by LCD Soundsystem and a chance meeting of like-minded band members intent on establishing something potent, Andy and Tahita formed NYPC in 2005.
