Mirageman

Hiding behind the Mirageman name was in fact pianist and composer Giovanni Fenati, who released a series of five (but some sources mention a sixth title) library albums between 1969 and 1972 on the Ariston label. At least four known singles were taken from these albums. Most of this keyboard-led instrumental production has little connection with progressive music, as demonstrated by the album titles, Per voi giovani and Alto gradimento were popular radio programs, and the albums were more in the easy listening/lounge music style.

Kool Keith

An original member of New York's pioneers the Ultramagnetic MC's, "Kool" Keith Thornton is best known as a solo rapper. His signature style is stream-of-consciousness lyrical flow and complex vocals, two skills that earn him a perennial nod from the underground community. The average Kool Keith album is peppered with bizarre, disjointed, even delusional or disassociated themes, concepts, and references. Nearly all of his albums incorporate a satirical dislike for more commercialized strains of hip-hop, as well as major record labels.

Ben Butler And Mouse Pad

Ben Butler & Mouse Pad is Joe Gay vs You/Germlin's new project. Anyone exposed to the furious shake & pop of pixelated DIY dance fury from either act should expect excellence. Excellence as in a cloud of pink TV static spreading over psychedelic gradient skies outside the window of your commuter train, analogical lighting bolts blasting in a rainbow coloured Sabbath which burns into the circuitry of your brain like the soundtrack of an old coin-op beat-em-up designed by a crazed cabal of progressive wizards and bearded Sci-Fi
