PRAXIS

There are several artists with that name. 1) Praxis was an ever-changing musical project led by prolific producer Bill Laswell. Praxis combined elements of different musical genres such as , , and into highly improvised music. The band first appeared in 1992 with the critically acclaimed Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis), Laswell, guitarist Buckethead, keyboardist Bernie Worrell and drummer Bryan ''Brain'' Mantia have defined the direction of the band over the last 15 years.

The Village Orchestra

The Village Orchestra is the solo project of Ruaridh Law, best known as one third of Glasgow electronic dunces, the Marcia Blaine School For Girls. Ruaridh describes The Village Orchestra as being 'like an allotment or garden shed', a place where he can relax and escape from the work and volume of his many other projects, which include Accrual (a collaboration with Alasdair Satchel) and Rose And Sandy (with Production Unit from Marcia Blaine, focussing more on the cross-section of sound and visuals).

Burial Hex

Burial Hex is a dark noise project founded by Clay Ruby of Wisconsin, USA. Burial Hex performs "horror electronics to prepare for the final mystery in the twilight of the Kali Yuga", which incorporate influences ranging from Tangerine Dream to power electronics. Burial Hex has released a stunning amount of CDs, CDRs and cassettes in the underground noise scene, both solo and in splits or collaborations with artists such as sylvester anfang, Oath, Mumber Toes, Karen Eliot, Joshua Norton Cabal and Skin Graft for the Aurora Borealis, SNSE and Cult Cassettes labels, among others.

Leo Abrahams

Leo Abrahams (b. 1977) studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music before embarking on a career as a guitarist, arranger and producer. He has enjoyed long-standing associations with Brian Eno (appearing on several albums), Ed Harcourt with whom he has toured and recorded for 6 years, and film composer David Holmes (Oceans12 and the award-winning Code 46). He has also collaborated with artists as diverse as Rachid Taha, Paul Simon, Nik Kershaw, Grace Jones, Nick Cave and Imogen Heap among many others.

Holy Other is a Mancunian musician based in Berlin. The sound he creates are hyper-aggressive, violent but amazingly calming that feels like slow, pulverizing pounds of lush, raw ambient surrounded by drones and screwed samples then drained by layers of orchestral soul enshrined in burial inspired dubstep beats.
