Frankenbok

FRANKENBOK 2012 Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Frankenbok was born kicking and screaming in 1997. Now with 4 albums and 2 EP’s under their belt, their most recent release, deftly titled “THE END OF ALL YOU KNOW”, is by far the bands heaviest work to date. Musically it is a real blend of heavy metal styles, ranging from thrash, to punk to southern rock riffage and straight up heavy metal, all with a very Australian flavour and distinctive sound that the band have crafted over a 15 year existence.

Pseudo Echo

Pseudo Echo were an Australian band. Formed in the early eighties by school friends Brian Canham (vocals, guitars, and keyboards) and Pierre Gigliotti (bass and keyboards), the band completed its lineup with Anthony Agiro (drums) and Tony Lugton (guitars and keyboards). Their first album Autumnal Park was an Ultravox-influenced album that yielded the Australian singles "Listening" (produced by Peter Dawkins) , "Stranger in Me", "Dancing Till Midnight", and "Beat for You". It was a mature album that gave little indication of their youth.

Summer Cats

Summer Cats are two girls and three boys from Melbourne, Australia. Like most people from Melbourne, they spend their time either: a) enjoying summer or b) waiting for summer to arrive. They play crash pop in an attempt to make you dance, so if you feel the urge...go right ahead! Musically they are somewhat of a cross between Stereolab and The Go-Betweens....or is that Talulah Gosh and The Left Banke?

Circle Pit

Sydney band and artist duo Circle Pit (Angie Bermuda and Jack Mannix) inhabit and navigate a murky sea of rock and roll iconography: faded denim, leather, skulls, silver jewelry, bleached hair, fingerless gloves, bird bones, empty beer bottles, feathers, fur, aviator shades, scribbled out or scrawled on text… Hell, even their name is taken from a slam-dance style preferred by skinheads and hardcore enthusiasts of the 1980s.
