The Tango Saloon is an experimental tango band from Sydney, Australia. Their self-titled debut, a tango-flavored album with a twist of spaghetti western, was released in 2006 by Ipecac Recordings, the American record label run by Mike Patton and Greg Werckman. The followup, Transylvania was released in 2008. In June 2007, the band was seen supporting Ipecac label-mates Peeping Tom on the East-coast leg of their Australian tour.
Pikelet is a band from Melbourne, initially just the name for solo artist Evelyn Morris (Baseball, True Radical Miracle), who begun playing music in indie and hardcore bands as a drummer and vocalist. Since his debut on Funkoars' 'Who's your Step Daddy' LP in 2003, Vents has since built monuments in the form of guest verses on Hilltop Hoods' 'Blue Blooded' track, Funkoars' remake of the Juice Crew classic 'The Symphony' and Hospice Crew's 'The Caution'. His album 'Hard To Kill' has been predominantly produced by Trials of Funkoars fame.
